Good morning,

All is good in Zeusland. Test, food, shot and LB normal. We even slept until about 20 min before the alarm. I have the day off... Have an electrician coming to do some work... What a pain that is. He was supposed to start at 9, but he has to go finish a job 30 min away. grr_red And then he has to go get supplies. So now I have to wait around. I bet he doesn't get back until after noon. I guess that's normal too :lol: he is a quick worker when he's here though, I had him do some other work when I remodeled the kitchen.

Smokey is not happy. She doesn't really care for men, she's not mean or anything, she just hides. And unfortunately, my house is really old and I can only close a couple of doors :lol: one of which is the very tiny bathroom. I'd hate to lock her in there. The other is the door to the sun porch, which is one of the rooms that the electrician will be working on.

Hoping for lower #s for you both very soon, and also hoping that the electrician gets there when he says he'll be there. Try and have a good day. :-D

Hi guys .. I sure hope the electrician isn't too late and get's his work done fast .. no way to spend a day off! Zeus, no worries on that man coming into your house .. you're safe! Have a great day guys!

Pleasantly surprised that the electrician was only gone for an hour and a half... Unfortunately Zeus spiked up to 360... And now with all the noise, ugh. I'm afraid to get a test. I did put the cats in the bathroom, and the poor things are so scared, hearts beating really fast. I can hear Zeus (I think) scratching lightly on the door. I can't wait to let them out of the bathroom.

Oh, so I forgot to tell you all.... Today is Zeus' one year FD anniversary... He was dx last May 1st. Kind of a sad day for me. I had so hoped to have a better handle on his numbers by now. Well, really I had hoped to get him OTJ. After a week on insulin last year, the vet had told me that we were on our way towards remission, but I guess Zeus has had other plans.
 
Electrician Left a couple of hours ago, the kitties were so happy to come out of the bathroom. Zeus was worse than Smokey, she was sleeping on the little bath mat... But Zeus whined and scratched at the door off an on.... Not the whole time though, thank goodness. Hopefully his numbers will come down tonight.

Glad to hear your electrician was pretty quick. I'll bet those 300s are stress-inflated. Sending blue and green vines to Zeus :mrgreen:
 
I hope Zeus and Smokey are calmer now that the electrician is gone. Hopefully Zeus will slide down for you tonight. Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Zeus. I know what you mean about it being bittersweet. It is hard, but it also means you're doing your best to keep him healthy and have a good life.
