Good Evening, L&LL,
Rusty had a good day despite swimming with the sharks. He had good energy, ate well, and his breathing was OK. The wild swings in numbers may be owing to the fact that we are getting to the bottom of the present cartridge of Lev. Tomorrow I will start a new cartridge. In the meantime, Rusty got a reduction to a fat 0.25U (0.25mm on the digital calipers, Monoject syringe). This is a shave from the skinny 0.5U (0.33mm on the calipers). Rusty is sensitive to insulin changes, so I always go up and down by small increments.
Today was much milder (up to about 60 degrees). We went to look at the river we had hoped to paddle tomorrow and found that only a narrow channel is ice-free. And high winds are predicted, so I guess we'll be home, doing chores. Temperature is supposed to hit 70 degrees tomorrow. Most of the snow is already melted.
Going downstairs now to hold Rusty's dinner bowl. He enjoyed a gentle brushing/combing today (he is so skinny that we have to be really careful).
