Good Friday Morning, Everyone, TGIF! Happy May Day!

Rusty had a good night. We were all tired and he slept through the night and ate some of his nighttime food this morning. He's in the process of grazing on his breakfast. I'll go down to check on him as soon as I write this report.
Another sunny day (or, at least a sunny start to the day). Lots of chores to do today.

The hike yesterday to OK Slip Falls, the highest waterfall in the Adirondacks, was wonderful. We had lots of mud, but no ice, on the trails. We heard frogs singing in the wetlands we passed through. We saw and heard lots of woodpeckers. The forest was beautiful and the first wildflowers were in bloom. We hiked to a mountainside that was opposite the mountainside the falls are on. So we had a view of it from the ledge where we had lunch. Here's my photo: OK Slip Falls. That's an ice field below the falls, on the right.

Gotta get going. Lots to do today: the landfill, a trip to Plattsburgh for Rusty's food, maybe some work on our boats if the sun holds (first paddle is on Monday!!!)

Wishing all a good day.

Great picture. Worth the drive...even more worth the hike!

Have a busy but productive day. Rusty, you be a cat...nap. And a bit of Lagoon visit would be nice.

Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Rusty, you are looking good today. A nice mid low blue. Off to the lagoon? It needs its meister. You surf well today.

The falls are beautiful, and I am so glad you finally got to make that hike. The falls reminds me of ones I have been to here, lots of forest greenery too. Very pretty! You certainly had a great lunch spot. How tall are the falls?

And it is time for the first paddle of the season? seems like just yesterday you were in winter lock down mode. It is great that is changing. :):):) Paddle on!

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well. Have a good trip to Plattsburg too.

Nice start for Rusty. I hope he slides down to the lagoon. Beautiful picture. I'm glad you enjoyed the hike.

Hi again,

It was a busy day and I'm just now getting to the board. Got Rusty's Wellness Core (Turkey & duck) in Plattsburgh and a couple of bags of f/d chicken treats. He had just eaten all his lunch (after that bg 42 at +5), so I thought it would be safe to go, since Edward had instructions to watch him and give him more food at +8 (which he did). When I got home at +8.5 he was in the shallow end of the lagoon. I hope he doesn't bounce too high! At present he's taking a nap, getting ready for the evening dinner+TV.

Off to visit condos. Hope all is well in L&LL

Yo Kitties, Sunday is the Full Flower Moon. I think it would be nice to have a camp-out party at a secret location in the desert (Arizona?) to see the wildflowers and to have a great view of the full moon. Planning session at my place, on the front porch, tomorrow. All invited.

Sedona would be a little warmer than where we live, great views, desert blooms, lots of mice, dark skies, big moon. We could go up on Cathedral Rock and have the best view of the full moon! - Tillie

Great timing on Rusty's part - way down in the lagoon as you are ready to go out.

Beautiful waterful, what a treat to see that on a hike. Paddling soon - awesome!

Maybe we can sneak out and go up to Polly's place just across the border in Utah too. Gonna have to pack some frozen fish. ~Neko
