Max's treat didn't go down right this morning and he threw it back up. His gel cap and food seems to have gone down okay. He was meowing for a couple hours before I could feed him but I ignored him and he didn't get up on the bed. I might have to start feeding him when that happens unless his numbers start to drop too much at pre-shot.

Have a great day. I hope nobody lives near the wild fires in Los Angeles or effected by the severe weather elsewhere.

Max slept almost all afternoon and wasn't asking for food. He just woke up. I fed him about 1/4 can of fancy feast and gave him his insulin. Could he have bounced from going into blue? That seems so strange to me as I only think he has bounced from green numbers in the past.

i think with last night's +6/133 and this morning's amps/159, it's very possible he did go into greens in the wee hours of this morning. today definitely looks like a bounce. looks like recently his bounces have had one day of high numbers before they come down again, so you could probably just get one before-bed test tonight and save your strips for another day!

Hi Elise,
I hope this bounce will be a short one, and that Max is feeling fine.

Lucy bounces from a non-bounce-worthy number sometimes too especially after being higher than her normal for a while.
 
I didn't think he would have gone much lower last night as it was +6. Either way he did bounce. I would assume he will soon have some kind of a favorable reaction to the increase either tomorrow or the next day. Thanks for pointing it out Julie. Thanks or stopping by Mariko.
