Yesterday was BLUE day in MannieLand.. I hear that the Blue Mannie Group was holding special performances in the Blue Grotto, to celebrate the groups return. It was exceptionally nice to see yesterday, after 12 cycles of predominately yellow. It may not have been green - well he did manage to post one last night , but it was even and consistent, and that makes me happy. We can work on the greens - I am just glad to see even! :-D :-D :-D :-D WOOT! Well done Mannie - your bean is proud of you. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie is one happy kitty. Yesterday it seems to have been PURR day - it was non-stop anytime I was with him. I'd walk by and say "hey Mannie", and I'd get back PURR PURR PURR. Look over the railing at him: PURR PURR PURR. scratch his ears: PURR PURR PURR. do one more test, just to be sure: PURR PURR PURR. Tell him he can't eat his sisters fuds: PURR PURR PURR. tell him it's raining and he really should just stay with the nanners: PURR PURR PURR. tell him it's time for a combing and demat session: PU............ HissssSSSSSSSSS. :lol: :lol: well: 99% Happy. :-D :-D He wasa good kitty yesterday, as he always is. What a joy to care for. Today, as always, we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used: despite even more missed ones, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

And completely OT: I went hiking yesterday. Here are some photos from Coal Creek, by Cougar Mountain. The trail follows the creek for about 3.5 miles, then one doubles back. it is a nice one, with alot of RR history there, There are even some of the timbers from the original tinder box (I think that is what it is called) from the 1980's, that allowed train passage over the creek. Hi guys .. yay for nice and even cycles!! Blue looks great on you mannie, don't forget to come back down! Your pictures are beautiful Michelle .. you always end up in the nicest places .. I am to scared to go off hiking like that in the woods .. I have a fear of things that are on the ground .. Good grief, I shiver to even type out the "S" word! But thanks for sharing!! Hi Michelle, did you change your drink to Primo espresso. I love sometimes just a double Espresso with foam; I guess it is called an Espresso Macciata (sp?) Anyway, if you want to get a wake up fast, it does the trick. So I guess Mannie avoided the more juice yesterday! :-D Love the pics and such a nice place for a hike. I took a short walk around the neighborhood earlier. How fun! Enjoy breakfast with your son and coffee later with a friend.

Mannie, did you say niptunis and sausages? I am there waitin at the curb. Will be nice to see Willie and Herbie, see ya soon, Mags

Hi Ann - nope - no drink change, though once in a while i will do the basic ones - just espresso or a macciato (sp??) And yes, Mannie did. So he got the talk this AM about how it needs to be more than just once day, and then he read Liz's post so he's out making sure he got the concept of Green down. silly boy.... And thanks on breakfast - that was good. My friend had to cancel for coffee, so I went for a shore walk instead. :-D

Great to see Mannie come down to 178, nice blue, now we need to see some green!

Love the pics, you always find the best places to walk, I guess you have a lot of areas like that around you. I have to remember that web site, my DBL is an engineer (not driving, but behind the desk figuring out the tracks or something like that), he just loves anything to do with trains, and he and my DH love the history behind them.

Sorry your friend had to cancel for coffee. I love coffee so much, I had to give it up for 2 years, IT KILLED ME, so now I'm at least back on decaf for now. :-|

Hi Barb - I so agree - I am hoping that he can repeat last night - nice blue to green surf. Paw crossed! :razz: Thanks on the pics. We are lucky in that we do have alot of places, just like that one, that we can easily get to - sure does make it nice. Nice on your DBL and the work - even better that he and your DH loves trains like that. We have alot of RR history here that can still be seen, to a certain extent, dealing with the RR's of 1890-1910. It is fun to go on these hikes and visit some of these things. -- and no coffee for TWO YEARS???? :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: omg - that would do me in too - I love coffee! I'm glad that you can now at least have decaf. :cool: :cool: :cool:

I am a beach person now..Used to go hiking with my DH, but that was long ago...

Mannie, you did well today and came back to those great blues. Blue Mannie Group will rock tonight at Punkin's birthday party.

Too bad you couldn't get together with your friend for coffee, Michelle, but at least you had a nice lunch with your DS. I don't know how I could get along without coffee, either. I gave it up for 6 months once and just walked around in a haze. I was so happy to get back on my coffee addiction!
Those pictures are stunning. What lovely spring green. We are just beginning to have our trees come into leaf.

Michelle, I just wanted to tell you that it was a nice surprise to see Mannie's picture today when I turned my FDMB calendar to May! What a sweet boy! My calendar is at work, right over my desk, so I will get to see his sweet face every day this month.

Hi Georgia - :-D :-D He is keeping some mighty fine company on that page. I just love that calendar - it's like see old friends every day. It is great that you can have to where you can see it everyday. I had to move my calendar as DGS thought/thinks it was the best thing ever - all those photos of kitties, and he was constantly taking it down, or trying to, so he could look at them. :shock: :lol: :lol: Safe and secure n :razz: ow.
 
Hey Mannie, you is the calendar centerfold dis month. You are my hero. I'm in the green lagoon and hoping you come here soon. I'm working on my bean for some rain galoshes. I's found some with my picture on them! - Zener
