5/1 Jack 146@AMPS, 242@+3, day 5 custom dosing

Crazy weekend as usual, but jack seems to be doing ok on the custom dosing we are trying. Definitely seeing more blue numbers and even a green so going to keep on this dosing strategy and see if we can get even better numbers. If he would just cooperate with his diet, we would be in even better shape. Based on his +3 number, I'm thinking maybe we should have gone with 7.5 units, but we'll see where he is at the +6

Do I need to come to Pennsylvania and give you a good Jersey talking to you

Thanks, I fixed it. I was cheating on an online work meeting and was being quick...LOL

I'm just looking for something that will work better for the snarky cat he is. It's a bad time to switch insulin with everything going on with my mom in NY, and me not being able to fully be around all the time. If he would just eat properly, the glargine works fine, but since he is so sensitive to the kibble mix he wacks his numbers out for days after he insists. I'm going to continue to look into the levemir but may not switch until after the summer....based on Jack and my crummy personal life schedule. Thanks, for your support! Much appreciated!
