Barb, I think Mags and Checkers would make a pair! :lol: I also get hollered at to get up early, but she does let me go to sleep early. Sending good Vetty vines today for Checker's routine visit. That's some drop at the +3. I hope he doesn't have any surprises either. Hope all goes well.

Nice slide there Checks, but slow it down a little. Or are you trying to show off for the vetty? And Sheesh! Let the bean sleep or she may get so @-) she forgets your fuds! :shock:

Melissa, I love when Checkers is talking sweetly to himself, but he has a raspy, macho, LOUD, irritating voice, when he's demanding; as opposed to Clancy's sweet, tiny, baby-like, squeeks, chirps, singing.

Checks makes me yell back in anger, and he gets even louder, and turns those big yellow eyes on me, as if to declare ..."Yay, I win the scream-off" :lol:

Tell me again, why I'm so crazy about him? @-)

Sending more good vetty vines your way. Hey, if Checks is hollering for fuds, that is awesome! Frankie now has me trained to get up in the middle of the night to feed her...If I don't, NO ONE sleeps. These cats...just gotta love 'em to pieces.

To funny on the screaming for fuds. That has got to be the most annoying sound Neko makes too. And then they make a cute noise and we forgive it all. :lol:

Hi Barb. Wow, that's a nice drop into the Lagoon for Mr. Checkers today. He might be trying to tell you "vet visit...I don't need no stinkin' vet visit." :lol:

It's not enough, he makes me stay up late, and get up early, then he vocalized the whole time I tried to get more sleep...​

We had a nice vet visit, and he is still only light blue. No vet stress.

In fact, Dr Dave mentioned how mellow Checkers was today. No growling, just sat nicely and let Dave and vet tech, Brandy. look in his mouth.
He has definitely changed his attitude lately and I am sure it's due to the thyroid being better.
We didn't do bloodwork today, 'cause I forgot (duh), that it was done last month, and his thyroid number had come down considerably, from the medication.

Dave was not overly worried about the 500's Checks had the other day, he worries more about a cat being too low. We know that, huh? :smile:
Biggest problem Checkers has is gingivitis, so he is to be on clindamycin liquid.
He is no where near, having to have the teeth extracted. Whew!

Is this one of the kinds with sugar in it? Susan thinks that this stuff raised his bg last time.

Nice numbers for Checkers today. I'm glad the vet visit didn't raise his BG. I'm sorry about the gingivitis. I hope the AB clears it up. That's a good report on everything else. :-D

Yay for the growl-free vetty visit!
Hopefully the gingivitis is easily treatable and gets better very soon.
And look at those beautiful numbers! Good job, Checkers!!

(Does he need some KTSS TLC?)

Been there, done that! You've got a Checks who wants to eat and a good vetty report. He'll clear the kibbles and all will be well! (Well, really, all already IS well!!)

Yay for good vet report! Of course you love the big guy, annoying chatter, kibble raid and all. It's funny because Turnup is the one in our house with the annoying incessant chatter. Tarragon is a chirper. Have a great night Barb!

Wow, Checks what a day for you! And you were so good at the vetty. :-D The AM cycle is a good example of why those mid-cycle checks are so important. I'm glad he had a good report! :-D :-D

:RAHCAT :RAHCAT :RAHCAT GOOD VETTY REPORT!!!! I am so glad all is well with our boy. YAY !!! Bummer on the reds tonight: maybe a little vetty stress, or just that and a little bounce from the greens and blues today. Well, at least you can sleep without worry. Rest well Barb.
