It's awfully hard to get any work done when you have this in your way:



Champ has decided that his new favorite spot to sleep is right smack dab in the middle of my desk...but only when I'm working!!



Champ's numbers are higher than they've been lately and I don't know if it's because I gave him his raw food for the first time in a long time for his PM cycle last night. Just in case, I gave him his FF this morning. If he doesn't get back down to blues and greens, I'll just add a drop back into his dose.

I have another busy day ahead, but will visit condos later today. I hope you all have a terrific day!!!

Yep, that Champ looks like he's working really hard! Does he play with the mouse? Great pics, Patty! Good luck with getting his bgs back to normal. It's amazing what some foods will do.

At least he's headed in the right direction!! I'm going to have to do some experimenting to see if it was actually the raw food that made his numbers go up. I can't believe it would be that because it's almost 0% carbs, but cats are weird creatures!!! I don't remember it raising his BGs before....guess I'll have to study Champ's SS sometime. I don't list his food on his SS anymore, but I do know when I started feeding exclusively FF again so I'll have to give it a look-see.

Awwwww, Tess just comes in to the office and yells at me when I'm working there. :lol: I'm supposed to be on the couch w/ the laptop where she can snuggle.

Is the raw TCfeline? I know there was a discussion about foods that are really low causing more bouncing because there was't enough glucose for the insulin to work on.

Hi Patty, I remember when I fed Maggie the raw Nature's Variety Instinct, Maggie's bg went up. I took it away and her numbers came down. Her bg also went up on the wet Instinct Chicken, even though it was low in carbs. Is this your homemade raw though?

Hi Ann and Ann!! The raw is the homemade food I made with TCfeline. I don't remember it causing a problem before with high BGs. Champ was having severe bouncing, though, which finally stopped after being exclusively on FF. To be honest, FF is less expensive to feed and is much more convenient since I don't have to spend a couple hours making it, but the raw just made Champ feel so much better. He seemed to have more energy when he was eating it. And, of course, there's so much less poop on the raw diet!!! I've heard there's less odor, too, but Champ already has almost odor free poop!! I know you all wanted to know that. :lol: :lol: Oh, the things we talk about....pets and babies, poop and puckus...they go hand in hand!!

:lol: ok that last post totally cracked me up. ;-)

LOVE the pics. funny how they know exactly where to park to be maximum inconvenient. anya wants to drape across one of my arms. so i'm like a gimpy one armed typist with one arm pinned down while i still try to write things.

champ does look awful charming though - he knows he's got you wrapped around his little finger!
 
Champ really gets into his work. :lol: What great pics!!! Oh I envy you on the odor free poo. T & T can both clear a room or two when they do their business. Thank heavens for Febreeze and candles!
