Re: BUD 6.22 332 0.10u

Hi Beth! Is the Sam-e for her liver? Did you get the test results back yet?

You can buy Denamarin which has Sam-e and Silybin (milk thistle) both in it which is great for liver support. Only thing is you have to give the small pill (in a pill pocket) about an hour before food once a day. I gave it to Tigger for many years but have gotten lazy about it lately!

Ack on that AM number but the rest of the day looks good!

How does she seem to be feeling?

Yes, for the liver, I guess. Missed the vet call about the tests and she was gone when I called. She will be there tomorrow at 1:00.

Bud's purring away but WILL NOT EAT. I bought her a fish today. Won't eat it. I have to hold the chicken bite above her head to get her to eat it. I've got some beef and chicken liver I'll try tomorrow. I did put some parmesan cheese on her cat food and she at about a tsp.

ONe just cannot shoot a cat that won't eat!

I did call a Vet Dentist today. missed his call back, also. something's got to be wrong in there.

Beth, did you try the baby food? Remember no onion or garlic.

Maybe the Ab has her stomach upset and she will settle down tomorrow.

Can you ask your vet for an appetite stimulant? She needs to eat more to ward off any possibility of hepatic lipidosis. Bud's numbers look really good although I am worried about her not eating as I know you are too. I hope there is a turn-a-round for your girl tomorrow and that she will get her appetite back.

Please let us know.

P.S. let's stick with this thread for a while.
