4 days, 3 cats, 4 vet visits

And I just hope I am done with it!

Last Friday: Beau for a T4 recheck (he is in the normal range now)
Sat: my aunt's cat for a depomedrol shot (IBD)
Sunday vet was closed, or I probably wold have been there!
Monday: Leanne's mouth "blew up" Sunday and was twice it's size. She needed a depo shot too for eosinophilic granuloma that she gets a few times a year now.
Tues: I was giving testing treats (they all get them) when Beau ran to the LB and I thought he had diarrhea again, but when I checked it was a nicely formed stool.... with little wiggly white things on it! Tape worm. So he got a Droncit shot.

And Cami was supposed to have a check up this week, but the vet was all booked by the time I called.

I hope and pray nothing else happens this week or for the next two weeks while I am gone. I am going to be a complete basket case until I get back on the 21st.

I am feeling so overwhelmed right now. I have gone from "plenty of time" to get things done to "too much to do in the time left". I am leaving the 10th and back 10 days later. So, two weeks from now I will almost be back to the Denver airport for the flight home (anti jinx!).

Too many people want "one last thing before you go" from me!

Tell me about it.

My friend from TX just emailed me "What are you Friday plans?" She is coming to town and bringing people over to my house for supper... Can't sit in the dining room, living room can to be quickly picked up but needs vacuuming and moving stuff around. This weekend was my cleaning weekend to get the items picked up and out on the curb before we leave and stock up on Sneakers frozen meals. Why couldn't she have decided Monday night was better?

I will be glad to be out the door, because even though I don't think I will get everything done, whatever it is, it is and there is no more time to worry.

I always take the attitude - "I'll do what I can!" If anyone comes that wants to criticize my housekeeping skills, they'll have plenty to say! Hopefully, when friends come, they're here for the visit (and kitties, of course - don't tell Jack the dog!). Since most of my friends are pet lovers, they completely get it!
