Thank you Tina - it's her second attempt so we'll just have to see how it goes! Well we really meant more than one point Rosa, but it'll do for now. We'll wait and see where you are later today before we worry about that too much - it is still under 120. :)

Tonka liked to hover right around 100 during his trial too, and spiked up to just above 120 on a couple instances, but in the last couple weeks, he's dropped back a bit to the 75-95 range. Maybe it just takes a while for some of them to realize that they aren't getting any insulin help before the pancreas really kicks back in?
 
Good luck this time on the trial! We usually start an OTJ on a green preshot. Paws crossed that's what you come home to.

I don't think I've looked at Rosa spreadsheet before. What a wonderful thing to see a kitty that started all black to be going OTJ!!!:D:woot::joyful:

(I suspect your 100+ might be a little bitty bounce off of that under 50 yesterday and should clear quickly :) )
 
@Wendy&Neko thank you! We technically started last night after her 48 yesterday morning so I did really get a green preshot to start with. I just didn't note anything as being Day 1 until this morning. Sorry for any confusion that caused I just hope she can make the trial this time - I'm not sure how I'd go about making a smaller dose than she's been getting!! I did just get home to an 87 (yes, I took an extra test she doesn't really have to have, but that blue this morning wasn't the best I've seen) so I'm hoping maybe it was a teeny tiny bounce as it had been a while since she'd been under 50.

And yes, @Melanie and Smokey when she was first diagnosed and I first joined here I thought she'd never, never be a candidate for OTJ because her readings were so high. I was just looking to get decent control of it for her, but she's done way better than I ever thought she could. :D

@jmalasiuk I think you could be right - numbers are going to vary a little and it might be that with some cats once they're used to even a tiny bit of support it might take them a bit longer to be consistent. Of course Rosa being Rosa, there's no way she's going to do this by the book!! ;)

@pollydoodle and @Patricia & Noodle thank you both for the well wishes. Fingers crossed she gets her pancreas into gear this time and does better than her first attempt! :)

And yes, her timings look a bit off today compared to 4pm usually being +10 - I must admit I took advantage of not needing to monitor after a shot this morning and took her AMBG at 7:30 instead of 6!!
 
OK, 79 is good for the night - I like 79...especially as Regan who has never had a problem yet seems to run in the 70s - I figure that might be their 'normal' or close to it. :D

Thank you! :D It's still very early in the trial, but so far so good...and she gets another night off from any more pokies - that will make her happy!
