Middle of the night here. Almost 2 am so just past pm +7. LM over last month...since the time change. His numbers continue to look great. I've been testing a tad more often because he is acting well tbh nuts.

He has been waking me up for +8 and ambg meals about an hour early. And as of last couple nights +8 snack 2 hours early at +6. Frankly it's driving me nuts. I'm exhausted all the time. Dh is mad...we've been arguing more. He literally dive bombs the bed. Most of time I push him off or tey to settle him down to lay with me. It halfway works.

Anyone else experience anything like this? I thought maybe his numbers were creeping up. A couple days ago I got a pmbg 79...a few days before that an ambg...and today a pm +7. His numbers seem perfectly fine to me. Right now I've gotten out of bed and sitting on small testing sofa. He is laying next to me content, I did just test not long ago and he got a treat so not sure if that was it or not.

Anyway at wits end and purely exhausted....:blackeye::banghead:o_O

Any other symptoms? Weight loss? Frequent urination? Vocalizing etc?
Maybe it's just attention-seeking behaviour? Or responding to stress?

Will it help if you move his snack times or feed snacks more often?

He is vocalizing a lot. But that is trying to get a response out of me in middle of night. But no other symptoms. Litter box looks good not drinking extra. Weight is about the same. I may have to add a snack at maybe pm +6.

I've noticed civvie is acting like a starved kitty too. So not sure if its monkey see monkey do or what.

I feel it's probably attention seeking, maybe he is tired of me working lol. During day when home he doesn't beg quite like he does overnight.

Hi Rainbow, sorry LM is acting weird.
We were recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism (big bummer and not to alarm you…) but I’ve read vocalizing and extreme hunger, increased drinking and urinating can be symptoms. How is his T4 levels, any recent tests?
Prayers it’s not that, and just behavioral. Big hugs to you and Little Man :bighug::bighug::bighug:

His drinking hasn't increased. Nothing recent but last levels were normal. I'll keep an eye on him though.

Hi Rain, nice to read you!
Does he sleep a lot during the day? Bella had a phase like that, she always meows around 1 am but at some point it was way more, and she would jump on the bed and groom for hours, then go and meow again, come back... I was very tired! I tried to wake her up during the day (easy with her, you just need to open the fridge or touch the butter dish :cat:), it seemed to work. I also give her Zyrtec during pollen season, because she starts grooming a lot and itch, which wakes me up too.
Just ideas!

He does sleep a lot because I'm gone working during the day. I think boredom and loneliness seeking attention maybe. I appreciate the thoughts. I probably need to do just a checkup on him too it has been awhile.
