AMPS 147

Yep, that's an 'AMPS' instead of an 'AMBG' this morning - we restarted insulin at .25 units this morning. Something, AGAIN, brought down his numbers overnight - it was NOT insulin. Today they only came down to 147 but they started in the high 200's last night. He looks like he's feel MUCH better overall than he has in weeks.

Dakota is doing WONDERFUL this morning too! That tooth hole continues to heal, still sealed too! He's out and roaming around lookin' for someone to share his lovin' with! Dat be ME! :-D Poop is a bit runny but he's on ab's for another 2 days...giving probiotics to him too. I have no idea what he decided to tell me this morning but it was a mouthful - meow, mee, merp, roerrr, mine...he talks funny - he be Yankee kitty.... :lol: :lol:

Great-granddaughter, Laila, had her other eye surgery this morning - she's already out and in recovery. All went perfectly - they checked the other lens and pressure that they did 2 weeks ago - THAT lens has set correctly and eye pressure is normal! WOOHOO! WTG BABY GIRL! It's awful when a child of 18 months has been thru this so much she knows when eyedrops go in, she goes to sleep - they gave her eye drops, she said 'Nite Nite' and laid down. On top of being such a good child, she's a BEAUTIFUL little thing too. Grams may be partial tho'....

I'm glad all is well with the kitties and the DGGD! I hope that KT and Dakota continue to feel well, and that the DGGD heals fast:) Have a good night!

Great news about Laila! Paws crossed for her continuing progress. And great news on Dakota's gum healing. Keep it up, handsome boy. :-D I would say that insulin brought KT's numbers down but it wasn't Lantus. :-D :-D :-D Have a great day, Lyresa!

I'm sure Grams, although maybe a bit partial, is also right - I'll bet Laila is precious! :-D
