Good Morning LL Family
I decided yesterday evening to bump up Gobbles dose by .25; although his PM+4 was 367, his PM+10.5 was only 178, which is awesome!!! I didn't expect the increase to reflect in his BG that quick as he had another increase of .25 just a few days ago. Opinions? He woke me up with total cuteness and love; giving Mommy kisses, purrs & hugs...then marched to the bathroom and as usual fashion, took what was left of yesterday's TP (he was a tad over zealous with his TP offering) as a gift to Mommy for helping FDMB with the Raffle. He then proceeded to drive the ice cream truck again and treated me with soft serve poo (though slightly runny). I am trying a diet change but thought by now offerings would firm up a bit more.
Gobbles' vet called this morning with some of his lab results from 4/3 (unfortunately, the laboratory did not have enough blood to run the TLI panel and therefore, I have to take Gobbles back to the vet's office for a blood draw). Of course, I didn't get a run down of every test (will pick up a copy this week, then update labs on his SS) but he said his ALT was 146 (132 on 3/13 & 127 on 2/26) which concerns me; I mentioned that he was taking Denamarin (due to ALT) before his diarrhea got bad and that it was discontinued a few weeks ago (temporarily). He advised to withhold the Denamarin until his BMs were normal. At this point, I am seriously thinking about just starting him back on Denamarin today. Opinions?
Gobbles glucose tested at 418; not a real shocker because (1) he was very scared that day and (2) I tested him at home, 1/2 hour before his appointment, and he was at 298. I was told the TCR and GI Panel were all good. I inquired about starting Pet Dophilus in place of Pearls; he is familiar with it and had said in the past that "sometimes you have to find the right/best probiotic" and thought it was a good idea to give the Pet Dophilus a try; I'll order some online today.I ordered ReNew Ultimate Critical Care 50 online today for just over $16, including s/h!
