Happy Day 1!

If you're not sure about the AMPS, you can always retest in a couple of hours.

When did you switch to AT2. The only difference I know of is at the 68/50 break between lagoon and shark waters. Under 68 on the AT2 and under 50 on human meter. Anything at 100 and over on either meter is considered blue. Titan has only used the AT2. A great start this morning at 118 :).

I’ve always used AT2. My concern is with OTJ trial you are to retest if preshot number is blue. But I’m thinking 120 and below should still be alright. Cause if I was using a human meter ... it would probably be green? No way to know for sure.

No need to retest with AT as long as the number is below 150. Because AT is giving you accurate number but with human meter we do not know how high is the blue that is why we retest:cat: .

Not true, we do not have guidelines written or much OTJ experience using an AT on this forum. Until recent years, hardly anyone used the AT. Our experience and data on what makes for strong remissions is from members who used the human meter.

Gizmo is also not the best cat to compare against as he's an acrocat with probably a working pancreas that is on cabergoline to control the acromegaly tumour growth hormone output.

I think for Gizmo, you need to set an number you feel comfortable with as the "it's a bit high" number, and retest if he's above that. If nothing else, it'll give you an idea if his pancreas is working. You did the same thing for the last 7 days on a drop dose.

Happy Day 1. Go Gizmo!

Happy Day 1!

As mentioned in another thread, Mark went OTJ last November and our numbers are all AT2. I sporadically test him and keep his spreadsheet updated and will be trying to do a curve later this week. Since Gizmo is an acrocat, I don't know if our numbers will be of any help to you.

Good luck!

Thanks. I’ll check Mark’s spreadsheet out.
