Re: 4/9 DAVIDSON AMPS 82

Davidson has an infection as there is some blood in his pee..........I noticed a yellow tinge a few weeks ago and thought it may be because he doesn't pee often, nor does Harley. He is still regular, no pain, playful and never complains but wanted to check it out at the Vet so took a sample. It was hard to tell, and I know that with FD sometimes there are issues as I have also read on here. He has no ketones.............anyhow he is on an antibiotic for 10 days to clear up any infection and the Vet is sending in the sample to a lab to test further just in case............he does not think it is anything to worry about, maybe UTI which even I get at times........

No concerns from my end and Davidson would have told me he was not well.............oh, nothing to do with his upset tummy the other day - that was food related as maybe had the stuff out too long.

Was away all day so didn't get any test in.............

Still constant with Davidson's numbers................

Hope you all had a great day!

Hope the vetty results are good, Shawna.

Come on, Davidson....now's not the time to be gettin' all sick. We have a par-tay comin' up!

Davidson had a +9.5 67 this morning and feeling great. I'm not worried about the infection as he shows no signs of discomfort at all and I've poked and pushed his belly area to see if he is bothered by anything and he just purrs along as usual. Once he starts purring he is like a freight train - louder and louder. In fact the vet has a hard time hearing his heart when he starts purring it's so loud. He's good............THANKS, for your concerns, but as you know the real results come back from the lab.........we're fairly confident it's just a minor infection based on what the Vet said...........5 more days of insulin to go!!
