Yesterday's Condo
Back from OV. Good news: Incision looks great. Sutures removed. Left eye still doing well. Bad news: collar wasn't off five minutes and Cinco was scratching! :sad:
Collar went back on. cat(2)_steam New plan: remove collar for eating and testing (yay), and if I can be in room and keep an eye on him. If I can't watch him, collar back on. Should be done with this in a couple of days. Sigh. Sooo close!
Just took it off to give eye drops, test and feed a snack. Now I'm watching him take a VERY thorough bath. I hate to interrupt it, but I gotta run. Got my own doctor appt. Which means collar back on. Sorry Cinco. :sad: More later.

Bummer he still has to wear the collar a bit longer, but you are SOOOOOO close! I am sure he was thrilled to give himself a bath...it has to be torture for our super-clean kitties to be stuck like that. Soon, Cinco, soon you will be totally free!

Hi Tricia! I'm glad that the appointment went well and everything looks good! I'm sad poor Cinco has to wear the collar for a bit still but at least it can come off sometimes

Thanks for the visits, Amy, Catherine, Carla, Mariko and Rachel.
Went out for dinner with DH and a friend right after PM shot and feeding. Got home in time for +3 test. He went up a little. Not sure why - stressful day? Bounce?
Cinco's collar is off now and he's relaxing on the sofa where we can keep an eye on him.
The OV called when I was on my way home from my doctor appt. The mass was cancerous, but it will require further testing to determine if it is lymphoma (treatable) or something else (maybe or maybe not treatable). He wants me to have Cinco seen by an oncologist. His tech is going to call me tomorrow with a referral. My head is swimming. Ate too much at dinner. Gonna have an adult beverage and relax in front of the TV with Cinco and the DH. I'll visit condos tomorrow, but I can't think right now. Sorry.

Thank you, Anne, Wendy and Chris. I'm feeling a little better (The adult beverage helped). Cinco is flat yellow tonight. Interesting kind of bounce, but at least no stinky pinkies (yet).

I'm sorry about the cancer but hopefully it is lymphoma which is treatable. My tortie had intestinal lymphoma and was on chemo. Many cats go into remission. I'm not sure why you only got a partial back as I got my results all together. I'm coming into this late so I don't know what type of biopsy or where the cancer is but sending healing vines.
