A long, slow, bounce clearing cycle last night and a less ugly AMPS this morning. We will see what Asia has planned for today.

@Wendy&Neko I found some low p wellness pouches that contain potato starch! :woot: Maybe the pouches and cans are just different formulations.

Asia was super playful last night. She went ham on da bird toy, I haven't seen her that feisty in some time. She spent a good bit of yesterday hanging out on the cat tree and watching the pigeons outside. By all outward signs, she's feeling pretty good!

Just look at that cute little face!

I am glad she is feeling spunky! I love it when I can get Gordy to play since he is pretty lazy. I got some bonding time in with him this weekend and got him to get riled up

I keep hearing about the "da bird" toy ... so i ordered one. I have stopped buying then toys because they like string, pens, and milk pull thingys lol

I used Weruva pouches with potato. Interesting on difference between pouch and can.

Come on down Asia, I just know you've got a green surf in you somewhere.

Ack! I couldn’t remember if you used wellness or weruva. I did find a can of weruva truluxe that was a trifecta of rare things: low p, low carb, and novel-ish protein (not poultry or fish/seafood). Steak Frites! It has sweet potato and potato starch. I don’t need it to be HC because I’m only using the gravy to make the Karo palatable. Now the real trick will be if she likes it and will eat it.

She plays every day, but she plays lazy, swatting while laying down. Yesterday she was frisky and decided to actually get up to play. I love da bird toy, I’ve had so many cat toys over the years, even ones that look like da bird, and that is the one they all go crazy for. I think it’s the attachment of the feathers which allows it to turn in the air and make that whoosh sound, they can’t resist it. Those simple toys are always a hit too, the ring from around a milk jug, woven hair elastics, and plastic shopping bags that we tie knots in so it looks like a snake have always been favorites with my cats. :p

Great to see her breaking her bounce! GO ASIA!!!!!! My two like Da Bird too, but simple paper bags, string with a bow wrapped on it, boxes are still the best.
She listened to Wendy! Good girl! :):):):)

I forgot about boxes, although I don’t consider them toys but jungle gyms. Boxes are always a hit over here too!

I have to hide this from my two when not playing with it. They love it so much.

Me too! They will eat the feathers off of it I don’t! :joyful:
Silver knows where it is though (he has superior clever powers) and if I walk close to where it is - he follows me, immediately alert - it is almost destroyed as I have to allow them to catch it sometimes. A reward for running round the room after it!

Same here, I keep it on a high shelf in the closet. They have destroyed tons of them. They had one version where you keep the stick and just buy refill feather attachments, but the refills were hard to find and it ended up being less expensive to just buy a regular one again because the strings get all knotty and they end up shorter and shorter as time goes on.
