Well, no magic yet with the increase. But he seems to sometimes wait to react. Hopefully he will decide to come down.

That one night it looked like maybe manipulating the food overnight brought down the amps. Are you continuing with that?

Yes still trying the food at +7 and around +9 or +10. He usually eats all the +7 and sometimes not all the +9 or +10.
I never can figure out what his mid cycle numbers will be by the AMPS. What I notice again and again a lot is if he has a AMPS above say 430, he usually drops more quickly at nadir and whenever he has a number in the 300's he will have higher mid cycle numbers in a few days, he was 372 AM on Friday. Also if he has a day or two in the blues mid cycle he usually has a higher, flattish day a few days from then. He also is due for his baby aspirin tonight, seems also sometimes when it is wearing off he gets less movement from the insulin and sometimes a lower AMPS after the night he has the aspirin.
He seems to feel well today, no increased peeing or drinking, eating normally. He of course, still has some walking difficulty. I have been massaging some acupressure points along his spine and ears to try to help and think there might be a little improvement.

It seems like we have several kitties who are dealing with pain and diabetes. Shakes is in the same boat. I don't think there is any definitive study on pain and higher bg levels, but it does make sense. Pain is stressful; stress raises bg levels.....
