Happy Monday! :p
Last week was insanely busy and I never got a chance to post. There wasn’t much to tell any how. Scooter is still at 2.75 units and mostly green, but I don’t think he’s ready for a reducie. He’s eating very well and feels good, so I’m happy.

I ordered a new box of syringes from the pharmacy. I took them the bag with the specs from the old box to get the right ones. I picked up the new box Thursday and went to use the first one yesterday morning and there’s no half unit marks! I should have checked it more carefully. I’m going to see if they’ll take it back, but I doubt they will.

When I ran home at lunch Friday I noticed one of the feral kitties probably had a UTI. I called the vet to get something for him, but really didn’t know how I was going to give him meds. He is tame enough I can pet him a little when he’s in the mood, but I didn’t think he was going to let me give him AB twice a day. I made sure the vet knew it was for a feral kitty. When I picked up the meds it was Chewable Clavamox. I had no idea there was such a thing. They must taste good, because he eats them right up. Even if he won’t come to me, I can roll it towards him on the patio and it gets his attention and he eats it. I thought this might be helpful for some who have kitties that are difficult to pill.

Have a good week everyone! Prayers for all kitties and beans in need!

:D:D:D Glad Scooter is feeling good. Nice the vet was able to give you chewable clavamox for the feral. Sending prayers. Sorry about the syringes. I hope you can exchange them.

Yes! This was the first med given to willow for her UTI (ClavaSeptin, actually) and she'd just eat them like a treat from her bowl, which was awesome! Until it gave her diarrhea, sigh. But that's just an ECID thing. Awesome for you to help the ferals :) And *great* for the vet to prescribe them without an exam!!!

I’m very lucky. My vet is great about not making me bring fur kids in if I’m fairly sure what the problem is.
