Happy Monday!
Last week was insanely busy and I never got a chance to post. There wasn’t much to tell any how. Scooter is still at 2.75 units and mostly green, but I don’t think he’s ready for a reducie. He’s eating very well and feels good, so I’m happy.
I ordered a new box of syringes from the pharmacy. I took them the bag with the specs from the old box to get the right ones. I picked up the new box Thursday and went to use the first one yesterday morning and there’s no half unit marks! I should have checked it more carefully. I’m going to see if they’ll take it back, but I doubt they will.
When I ran home at lunch Friday I noticed one of the feral kitties probably had a UTI. I called the vet to get something for him, but really didn’t know how I was going to give him meds. He is tame enough I can pet him a little when he’s in the mood, but I didn’t think he was going to let me give him AB twice a day. I made sure the vet knew it was for a feral kitty. When I picked up the meds it was Chewable Clavamox. I had no idea there was such a thing. They must taste good, because he eats them right up. Even if he won’t come to me, I can roll it towards him on the patio and it gets his attention and he eats it. I thought this might be helpful for some who have kitties that are difficult to pill.
Have a good week everyone! Prayers for all kitties and beans in need!
