TGIF Everyone!

Rusty woke me up in the dark of the night/early morning by sitting on my head, giving head butts, putting his paws in my face. I have no idea what time it was! But this morning he was full of energy still. When I tested I thought I didn't have enough blood the first time (even though the FreeStyle Lite is not supposed to give a reading with too little blood), so tested again on a slightly larger blood sample. The first test was bg 88, the second 102. So I'm calling it green! Rusty had a good shot (skinny .75, or maybe fat .50) and has enjoyed 2 sittings of breakfast. He's now in his basket by the radiator. It's warmer here today (22 degrees) and supposed to get up to 50.
Today is a "car" day. I'm having the snow tires taken off and the regular tires put on (optimistic!!), plus some other maintenance. I might even go to the carwash!!!!!

Good morning .. what a nice amps for rusty! Way to kick start the weekend there my man ... Hope you enjoy your day out getting the car ready for summer .. Whenever we run through the carwash we know it will rain THAT DAY .. have a great weekend guys!

Yeah, what a nice start for Rusty. I'm sure he knew you had a full schedule and was just trying to make sure you got started this morning. Sounds like spring is on the way and you will be on the lake soon. Have a great day. Few more condos to visit and then I'm out of here.

Hi again,
Looks like the early green was just a tease. But it's a lovely day and Rusty is sunning himself on the livingroom rug, lying on his back with his feet in the air and purring. What a cat! Off now to do the car stuff. We decided that it is now spring and have taken the insulating quilts off the doors to the cure porches (our house was built as a TB cure cottage with a porch off each of the 4 upstairs rooms where the TB patients were supposed to spend as much time as possible--winter and summer--breathing the mountain air. We, however, keep the porches blocked off in the frigid winters!!

Very nice start to the day for Rusty. They seem to have had quite a time at the Lagoon last night.

It's warmer here today (22 degrees) and supposed to get up to 50.

I have to laugh, last night on the news they were warning us that it was going to get COLD again, highs only in the 50s. :lol: :lol:

Today is car day for me too! ...Except they are replacing my muffler and fixing a few things. Pricey and not-so-fun. I am dreaming about a change of tires!

Rusty looks great today!! Slowly coming back to Rusty numbers and that is great to see. That is so interesting about your cure porches. I bet your house has so much character!!! Have a great day.

Rusty...dem bad pool guys will be here for three weeks!!!! We gots to find somewhere else quiet to be!! But after they leave..it will be an even better place for us kitties.

Got home late from the car shop and missed the +9 (and Rusty missed his +9 snack because Edward didn't even think of it!!). Looks like he surfed right around 100 all day again. I'd hoped that the extra drop would lower his numbers a little bit to the high greens (like he had before the trip and the fur shots). Maybe tomorrow.
It was a beautiful warm day here.

Wonderful that you could open up the house - remove the quilts. It's like saying - yes, bye bye winter, bring on spring. :-D :-D YAY! I love the image of Rusty on his back, paws in the air, sunning his belly. SWEET!
