Yesterday’s Condo for Oliver

Yesterday's recap:
452 - amps (3.5uL & .25R)

I like Oliver's amps; he was quite perky this morning too, not anxious for the foods.
He lies on the matt or floor beside the bed, I guess so he knows when I get up and can head into the kitchen, but today he just got up and did not vault into the direction of the kitchen.

I tested Oliver first, then gave him foods and his shot before Shadoe. After I did the same for Shadoe, I watered the pot of cat grass and put it down for them.
I went to get Shadoe and carried her over and put her down by the grass, but Oliver and Shadoe both went for the grass at the same time, and Shadoe went into a huge dramatic hiss, spit, growl thing and swung at Oliver with a slayed paw of open nails.
Oliver towers over her, so he just looked down at her, then went back to eating some grass.
Shadoe decided to leave and come back later haha_smiley

Oliver is happily asleep, stretched the length of the hallway now.

He sounds like such an easy going guy. Glad to hear he's chilling about the food issue.

Glad to see an improvement. Good luck with the dosecrease.

I loved the pictures of him laying upside down, I have lots of pictures of KB in that same position. So content looking.

I totally did not realize how badly I have been spoiling Shadoe until Oliver arrived and I started spoiling him, much to her extreme annoyance. She is hissy fitting all the time - umm, too bad that she has to share.

And Oliver could not have been a better match if I had plugged in my requirements and ordered him up! He totally could not care less about anything, and even Booboo, who is so much smaller that she could likely walk under his belly, just goes up to him all the time.
He is not quite ready to allow Booboo to clean his ears after testing, but she tries.
Shadoe on the other hand just sits back and lets Booboo clean her; Shadoe is pretty tubby so she figures why not?

Oliver has such a small meow, and it's only heard when foods are overdue, and I am taking too long to get his bowl filled.

I've got a good feeling about this dose; he seemed more at ease and spry this morn. I would prefer to worry about one cat at a time if possible.

That Oliver is some guy! How nice that he doesn't let himself get roped into kitty quarrels! Good luck with the new dose, Gayle. And Shadoe: be nice to your new brother!!

Good to see Oliver starting to feel better. Oliver knows Shadoe is just all sparks. Besides if she gets too hissy, he can just sit on her. :lol:

I have thought about how any fight would turn out.
Booboo is 8lbs on a fat day; the wind could blow her over, if it dared.
Shadoe is around 14lbs, a solid girlie.
Oliver is/was around 15+ and has been exercising a healthy habit of eating so is likely more.

His paws are double the size of the girls, seriously. Booboo can walk UNDER him. He has to be about 36inches long when laying on the floor, stretched out he is longer.
Shadoe is shaped like a basketball on legs.

Who would win?

Hands down, it would be Booboo because she is NUTS. If there were any scuffling, she would be in there like a dirty shirt, ready to kill anyone and everything. I have seen her tear into the room if she hears a noise that is 'wrong', and if it's Shadoe making the noise, she is AT HER SIDE, ready to protect her.
Booboo is a feline pitbull. Tiny but wickedly ferocious. She scares me, so I give her whatever she wants.

Oliver is pretty limp in his attitude, but I don't blame him. These numbers have got to improve.
Even his appetite seems less and he's under my bed again, all stretched out.
He came out for a bit and had his food after his shots, sat in the tree for a bit, then went back into the bedroom.
Hopefully the R can help him come down to something decent for surfing.

Oliver and Shadoe sound like Max and Chloe.
Max is laid back and 18.5 pounds. Chloe is around 11 and she hisses and swats at him.
Not so much now because she gets treats when he does but poor Max. he just looks
at her and walks away.

It's great to hear how calm and laid back he is.
He has found the perfect family.

It's going slow but the numbers are coming down.
Hopefully, in time, they will stay down!

I will see if I can stay up to get a +4 and +5 to see if he hits yellow.
The R is helping to give him a kick start it seems.
 
And we have a yellow...YES!!

Ugh, it's like pulling wisdom teeth here.
I really think the trick is that TOR at ps to bring him down
