Well, she cleared the spike from the FF Turkey & Giblets yesterday. I was just falling asleep early last night, and all of a sudden I heard Maggie screaming and some banging near the patio. We have a wandering beautiful multi-colored kitty from the neighboorhood making appearances every so often. The two felines were trying to fight it out thru the sliding patio glass door. Maggie sure did not want him/her in her area. Otherwise all P's in place and lots of talking and wanting to play with the mouse toy. No btd for me until she's ready! Happy Friday!

And isn't Maggie a wonderful bodyguard, making sure those prowling kitties get nowhere near you or the house. :lol:

Good morning guys .. very nice numbers today maggie .. glad you came down from your spike ... Mocha is also VERY territorial of intruders in her yard .. One summer she literally ran through the screen on the window and we had to catch her and drag her back in by her feet cause she saw another kitty walking down the road .. Have a great weekend!

Hi Iorwen, yes for a little half pint, she puts up a good fight!

Hi Devon, it sounds like Mocha is also very protective of the household. Yes, Maggie came down quickly from the FF Turkey & giblets, so now I know which food to give her to keep her safe. It takes very little to cause a spike.

Nice numbers for Maggie today. Yes, they are territorial. Maggie greets intruders the same way Tuffy does, with a vengance. Have a great day.

Thanks Barbara, Maria and Lisa for stopping by our condo. Yes, Maggie can be a little feisty when the occasion arises. She came up on her own at +5, so I guess I can escape for some errands. Hope everyone is having a nice Friday.

Hey, Ann!! Have missed your condo the past few days... you were on a FFT&G spike too?? I think it bumped Willie up as well! Glad to see you were able to escape for a bit today! Another great start tonight... looks like we may be in for a PJ party!!

Yep, that FF Turkey & Giblets is a spiker. But Rusty just loves it. So I give him a tiny bit as a treat at bedtime (a skimpy teaspoon). I don't understand why it raises the bg, since it is supposedly very low in carbs. Interesting that it has the same effect on Willie, too.

Hi Christie, thanks for stopping by today! Yes, I was able to skip out and pick up some cat food and Panda Express takeout food for me ! I'm a bit surprised to see this +2. I think it's from some Sophisticat Mixed Grill which is low carb, but sometimes just a different food can affect them. Or else I did a fur shot! Maggie was being a bit picky today, so I gave this a try.

You are a bad influence. Although I have two One Touch Ultra Minis and a Contour, I couldn't resist and bought a Freestyle Lite. When are we going to start a support group for "Glucometer Addicts Anonymous"? :lol: :lol:
