yesterday's condo

Jude has zoomed up this morning. I'm not sure what's going on. Could be another FIC flare. I mentioned the other day on someone's post, but Jude has been drooling. Could be his teeth. He had a cleaning last February and then needed one again in December. I'll try to get him in soon for an exam. Taking him in to the vets isn't as easy as it used to be since now that we have to travel farther to see the vet, he nearly always gets so stressed that he urinates and poops in the carrier either on the way over to the vet's office or on the way back ☹️

I hope everyone has an uneventful, smooth surfing day!

Indy does the same thing in his carrier. When he wasn't pooping I was almost tempted to take him for a drive to try and stress the poop out of him. I decided to give him more time....and not be so mean. I was feeling pretty desperate though. Hope Jude has a safe smooth surf today. Don't forget to take care of yourself too!

Hopefully these blue numbers are temporary and he'll come down nicely and safely.
Are you able to look inside his mouth to see the state of his teeth? That could give you an idea if he would need another cleaning or not.
Happy Wednesday Mary and the kitties

I looked a little bit (that he would allow), and they look okay to me, but I don't really know what I'm looking for. I don't see a lot of tartar on the gum line--things don't look too yellowish. I wonder if there is something else that drooling could be a symptom of?

I'm sorry Mary, I hope Jude doesn't get too stressed on his way to the vet. Maybe the vet could give a mild sedative or something for anxiety? Sweet, shy Jude
I give him gaba, but I don't really think it helps that much. Perhaps something stronger? I have some Zylkene that I've heard is good, but I've yet to try it on him. My sweet, sensitive little guy.

Yeah might be worth asking here or your vet. One of my parents' cats gets extremely stressed in the car (mouth foaming, super agitated) and they give him Acepromazine, which works well for him.
