Happy Monday!!! Sending healing vines and good vetty vines to Mannie and all others who need them.

Lil Brown Girl is lying at my feet on her back as I write this. It has been a stressful morning for the Principessa. We had workers here putting another clear coat on our Ramada for the summer; the next door neighbors' pool contractor started with the jack hammer at 6 this morning grr_red grr_red grr_red and they kept walking back and forth on the side of their property that is closest to the kitty cage (it isn't that close but she could hear them), AND the neighbors across the street had their landscapers with all their noisy equipment going. Too much for the baby girl!! However, it might have been good for her numbers because instead of diving as she cleared her bounce, she came down a little slower. It is normally so quiet around here that all those aggregated noises just had her in a tizz. I went to test her once and found her smashed flat under the sofa :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol:

If you did not see Josie's hilarious post late last night about the "saut de chat" ballet position, it is very worth visiting for a good belly laugh. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Those International Coast to Coast PJ Partiers are quite the crowd!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Marje - poor Gracie! I hate when all that noise happens at once (for me AND the kittehs) when they have no where to run and hide! Poor Leo about lost his mind several months ago when they ripped all the flashing off of the windows outside and banged the daylights out of the window frames for 3 hours. AAUUGHGHGHGH! I hope she's settled down now, and done with that bounce!

Hi, Marje, I would be hiding under the couch, too, with all that racket! Poor girl. Were the other 2 amigos bothered by it? And isn't there a law about jackhammering before 10am? There should be.

PS: I can't take the credit for "saut de chat;" Rhiannon came up with that bit of genius-ness. :lol:

Hi Marje, UGH on the 6 am wake up call! :shock: Poor little brown girl, I can totally empathize with her... I loathe lawn mower season, which in Florida, is about 9 months long ohmygod_smile The worst is the blowers. :evil:

Josie, the way you posted the picture on its side was hilarious! :lol: Maybe I am just easily amused, but that really tickled me. You were on a roll yesterday with your hilarious report in your condo, too.

We PJ Partiers are indeed a kooky bunch... sleep deprivation does curious things to people :lol: Hope you have a great day, Marje!

Hi Marje. Like you said, considering all of the ado going on Gracie did make a nice drop to the Lagoon.

Hope all of the pool building and landscaping is done soon so Ms. Gracie can get back to her normal routine.

Oh wow on those awful noises! Poor kitties, especially Gracie! I should think that there must be a law about when construction work can start. 6 A.M. is way too early! Even in NYC they don't start until 8 A.M. Anyway, it is nice to see Gracie in the lagoon. She and Rusty can have a good surf.

I just had to use that even tho' it wasn't true to her position on the bed. :lol:
But it is an actual term.... I didn't make it up. :-D

Rhiannon....I'm sorry! I didn't mean to leave you out because you said what it was first. It was, as Courtney said, Josie turning the picture sideways that made us laugh so hard. I watched the youtube video for the jump :-D I took a little ballet but never even got close to that level :lol: :lol: :lol:

PJ Party at Gracie's Tonight! Kismet is bringing Fancy Feast Chicken and Gravy and I'm bringing the wine ;-)

I took ballet, but all I remember is "point, flex, point, flex" :lol: To be fair, I was like, 5 years old. Maybe Gracie will show us some moves tonight at the par-tay! dancing_cat
 
The only problem with a pj party here is she likes to sleep au naturel, and we don't have ice cream or chocolate :oops: :oops: :oops: :lol: :lol: :lol: but it's always a party atmosphere and we have plenty of beer and other adult beverages :lol:

I thought Josie's picture was great too....
wasn't sure if anyone knew ballet well enough to know it was a real jump and I didn't just make it up. ;-)
