Gabby's Last Condo - 4/6
Yesterday was so crazy that I didn't have the time or the energy to open a condo. (Gabby actually visited green numbers last night.) The movers were supposed to be at my storage unit at 8:00. We didn't get back here until around 2:00 and they didn't leave until close to 6:00. They were supposed to "unpack" -- which consists of putting everything on a flat surface. The bed, the island, and the counters were covered with stuff. (I clearly have too much stuff for this place.) At one point they said they couldn't unpack any more and wanted to leave despite my dishes not being unpacked. Needless to say, they didn't fly. I still have a few boxes that need to be unpacked and I've got to do some rearranging but everything is where it should be and I'm tired to the bone. I didn't even have the energy to eat dinner last night.
The kitties spent the time that the movers were here sequestered in the bathroom with Feliway plugged in. Other than Gabby expressing her displeasure at being on the opposite side of a door from me, they were much less stressed by the commotion. They have their cat tree, scratching posts, etc. One of the first things that Gabby did was to climb into her toy basket. Gizmo is back to lounging in his cat tree which is strategically located so he has a view out the windows.
