Thank you so much Tara. Poor guy went from a regular routines life to a whirlwind of what the heck is going in? From no food and water overnight, to no breakfast, to a carrier, a traumatic car ride and whisked into the hands if strangers in a strange place only to be poked and prodded and an IV; peeps messing with his teeth and ears. Oy my poor guy. The only good thing going for him is the fact that he's totally used to dogs barking so that shouldn't bother him while he's there.
PS this is the vets office that is totally non-traditional - it's in a converted house; everybody sits on couches in the living room and that's where the dogs all get their acupuncture and chiro adjustments. The 2 female docs are very into holistic treatments when possible and they also specialize in rehab. This is who got my client dog walking again just two weeks ago after her stroke when neurologist and another vet recommended she be PTS because she was totally paralyzed. She is up and running now! Truly miracle workers!!! Just hoping an 'ordinary' dental goes well.
