Just an update for anyone who remembers Baby and me from last year.

He was diagnosed in late August and I gave him his last shot on 10/10 -- so it's been 6 months!

I did not follow tight protocol at the end, mainly because he was consistently hovering near 100 and I could not monitor him closely enough to feel comfortable shooting with those numbers. But I was okay with it since they were mostly sub-100 and he seemed so much better.

Since February, every random weekly check has been in the low to mid-50s. Today he was 53. I haven't updated the spreadsheet in a couple of months, so you won't see it there. But if there was any question as to whether he was officially OTJ when I stopped shooting last Fall, I think there is no question now. His neuropathy is GONE. And he is leaping around like a kitten again these days even though his 15th b-day is just around the corner.

And so, I wanted to let you all know how much I appreciated your help during what was an extremely stressful period in my life (because my son was going through some medical and food allergy issues at the same time and I was burning the candle at both ends).

Thank you!

Mookie and I joined the Board after you left, but I appreciate knowing that Baby is doing well. It's always great to hear of a successful OTJ kitty. Congratulations on 6 months juice-free!

Thanks for the update! It is so nice to hear how well baby (and you!) are doing .. please come back and update us more often! :-D
