Another red one!

Are these higher preshots giving her numbers that encourage a steep drop and trigger a bounce? Is the drop from one bounce triggering the next? This is nuts, not making a lot of sense. I hope this chills out soon. Fully expecting her to crash down with another steep drop in the next couple hours, or she might save it for the pm like yesterday.

:stop:Asia, come back down please.

Stacy-how is she acting? All p’s in place? Can kidney infections come back after AB treatment?

She's acting fine. Most P's in place, grooming is "optional" at her age, but she will clean her face. ;) Nothing symptomatic. Yes, the kidney infection could have only been weakened and come back. :( Huge fear over that. Getting labs soon and it should say something.

I have urine strips that test for a lot of basic things like blood in the urine, bilirubin, nitrite, etc. and I use them. Assuming they are accurate enough, I would have a tiny heads up on some medical issues possibly before symptoms appear.

Glad she’s feeling good. Just looking at her SS soon after the AB I see more pinks, a black and reds scattered. Paws crossed it’s not an infection.:bighug:

DH and I are heading to Balthazar on Spring St for late lunch/early dinner. Have you ever been? Word on the street they have the best pomme frites in the country:woot:

Asia has had a few high numbers every now and then, but this does seem out of place. I hope the infection is not coming back and she flattens out for you soon. Sending prayers.

She does like to bounce to the moon here and there, always has, but she seems interested more frequently these days. It’s also much coincided with a few reductions, which may or may not be related. Less insulin - more bouncing? I don’t know.

Yes, exactly why I put that giant “finished antibiotics” bar in her SS, so it would be obvious if things went wacky after. She’s getting back to the vet soon so we will see. I hope this is just some several reductions wonkiness. If that’s not a thing, I’m saying it is. ;)

I haven’t been, but that sounds fun and yummy. We go to soho and surrounding areas often, lots of good food is there! Have you ever been to Tareau? So good (if you like fondue).
