Good Morning, Everyone. Happy Billie Holiday's Birthday! (tune in to WKCR.org for the 24-hour Billie Holiday birthday celebration; 89.9 fm in NYC, the Columbia University station, also available on iTunes, college radio list)

There's the trip bounce! We had a good trip home yesterday and Rusty was a terrific traveler. He sat in his "spot" between us on the armrest, occasionally going into the back to sleep in his carrier (or to sit on top of it and watch the scenery), or to use his litterbox. Once again we had a trip with no vomiting and no complaints.

Sunshine this morning, but rain on the way, We are in 'Mud Season". It will be a novelty to walk on sidewalks that are not covered in ice and/or snow.

This will be the usual getting re-organized day: shopping, the post office, paperwork. If it gets warmer this afternoon and if it's not raining, Rusty may want to venture outside. Chip-Chip was at the feeders this morning. And there were several White-Throated Sparrows. They are always a sign of spring, although they usually do not arrive this early. These birds may be "scouts", arriving before the main migration.

Nice sunny start for Rusty, but blue is better. Come on down big guy. Glad to hear you made it back and that Rusty was a good traveler. Yuck on mud season, but it is a necessary evil. We are in our rainy season (I hope) and will have storms off and on for the next couple of months.

I hope Rusty keeps sliding down. I'm glad he traveled well yesterday.

Paws crossed Rusty ditches this trip bounce soon. The kitties are missing him in the lagoon. Great news on Rusty and traveling, he is doing so much better now. :-D

Yuck on the mud season. Be careful of the knee.

Woo hoo, spring is a coming with actual sidewalks to walk on! We get "mud" season too, as all the snow melts. I think if I try to walk on the parts of my lawn that are showing I will sink down and not be seen again :lol:

I'm glad you had a nice trip home and that Rusty did so well :-D . Have a good evening, I hope that the lagoon meister will show us his stuff ;-)

I'm glad all went well with your travels!! It looks like RUsty is slowly working on breaking is travel bounce. I hope you've had a good day getting re-settled and are enjoying a relaxing evening!

Nice recovery from that trip bounce Rusty - it was great to see some blue today. It sounds like he had a really good trip this time. very nice! Guess he has gotten used to them. I love the thought that he looks at out the scenery. :cool:

Hooray for mud season! Well maybe on that. At least you won't have to worry about slippin' and slidin' on ice, and snow. ;-)

Enjoy your re-org day. I hope all went well. Was it warm wnough this afternoon for Rusty to go out? How cool on seeing the sparrows! Spring is indeed coming. :-D :cool:

How was the Billie Holiday celebration? She was an amazing artist.

Thanks for visiting. Rusty decided to resume the bounce. I think he was upset by the finale of the 3rd season of Game of Thrones (which we are watching, belatedly, on Netflix). He finally got down from the couch and went over to his bed to wait it out. It was certainly bloody and violent. Rusty is a sensitive guy.

Billie Holiday celebration was wonderful.

It's great to hear how well Rusty traveled!
I hope he breaks the travel bounce (violent TV bounce?) soon!
