Hi Everyone,

I'm back from Urgent Care: nothing is broken; I'm in great physical shape. Actually I felt much better this morning, but I promised Edward that I would go and get checked out. And I'm glad I did. My leg is getting better already even from where it was this morning.

Rusty was low key today, but no vomits, and his numbers are good. His appetite was OK, but not great. Now that we're home again, I expect it to pick up.

This evening I'm finally going to get to visit more condos. Until then, we're going to have a beer, an easy dinner, and sit and listen to Billie Holiday. It's the 100th anniversary of her birth and WKCR (the Columbia University station; also available online) is having a week-long Billie Holiday festival. This music is just fantastic! Give it a listen!

Rusty ate most of his dinner and is waiting for us to come down to sit with him. Edward and I had a nice, easy walk this afternoon. It was quite mild and the snow is receding!

To answer your question, the stairs are oak. The up to the first landing in the front and the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are both suspended. Above the landing in the front that back of the stairs are enclosed. There isn't any carpet in the place. The floors are concrete and I have area rugs. I did put some photos up on FB.

I am glad all is OK, and that you did go to urgent care. Funny how things are always better once we say we will go. More healing vines for you in case you need them. Very nice too that you were able to get a walk in today.

Good to hear that both of your are feeling better. Rusty got in the lagoon and you got out for a walk. :)

lol. It hasn't even been set out on the ice yet! (the ice is really thick this year).

Rusty ate all his dinner and had a good lb contribution and a vigorous play afterwards. We listened to Billie Holiday and at 10 p.m. watched "Person of Interest". (a cult show that we really like).

@Sienne and Gabby : Your new home sounds great. Suspended stairs! I can imagine that the kitties like those.
 
We get person of interest here too - I have a little crush on the man in the suit!

A great report for what seems to have been an all-around pretty good day. Even some going-away snow. And Billie Holiday.
