hi LL Family!
late in opening a condo....keeping Carolyn and BigMac in my prayers....and all the kitties and beans who need them
it has been extremely challenging with Rocket the last 3 weeks....i've been averaging 3 hrs sleep and really not straight thru.....and even more so this past week....i went to see the hand surgeon this past Monday and got another steroid injection on my right wrist (thumb injection was done Feb 1)....and so my hand was bandaged up and i was in severe pain....making subq fluids and insulin injections plus testing that much more challenging to tend to Rocket's needs....using one hand at work was quite interesting also....
so i've been MIA and unable to keep up with condos....know that i keep you all close to my heart....
for those of you who are aware that my paternal grandma is in the hospital....well she is still there....and really it's a matter of time though she keeps proving the doctors wrong.... so we await
Rocket has not lost any weight though it's a hit and miss with his food as he is still not eating a darn thing while i'm at work....i still come home at lunch....allowing me to be home for a total of less than 10 mins before i must turn around to go back to work....it is worth every minute knowing that i get to check on him and Comet....
he is alert and sociable and with all that he has going on i can't ask for more....i look back at a yr ago and i still can't believe he is still with me....i enjoy the time i have with him....i don't complain at my lack of sleep...i look forward to my weekends where i get to recoup some of that time....i'm extremely exhausted but i wouldn't change a thing....
