Mannie and I are saddened to learn of the passing of Doodle, and Minuit. Mannie and I have lit candles to help guide your way. Fly free my little ones, land softly at the bridge. We will miss you.

And what to say about yesterday. oh yeah - Pink. ugh!! i hate pink.... I am uncertain if this is due to the stress of having the baby staying here or not. Yesterday was the first day this week. He doesn't seem bothered by Nicholas, in fact he pays him little attention: a glance, a once over, and then off to do Mannie things. Yet he can be very stoic about how he feels about things. Well - who knows: maybe he is, maybe he isn't. pink is pink, and I hope it goes away. :-D What'd'ya say Mannie? Please? Or maybe we need to fatten up that dose? Hmmmmm? cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. He awoke to find his nanners scattered. :shock: :shock: Civvie invasion!!! Must have happened during the night. Nooooooooooo, and they shall pay says the cat. :twisted: Ownership was reestablished, security restored. :cool: What a relief - I was afraid I'd have to run an intervention! He is so funny whenever he sees them trying to play with them. He has this stance, this glare that says "Back Off" big time - and they do... with their tail between their legs. :lol: :lol: Poor civvies! He's in a good mood today: lots of purrs and rubs and head butts. I wonder if he is saying: no baby today, please? :lol: :lol: Sorry Mannie - two more days to got his week.

Have a great day everyone. I am off shortly to pick up my DGS for another day of enjoyment. :-D :-D I don't know if I will be able to visit anyone today - yesterday proved difficult. Do know though that I am thinking of you all.

My friends!! What a party last night huh. And Binks - off to the falls. I am glad that Binks wanted to share his special day with those that have left us. We will miss you guys - Maverick, Minuit, Doodle. I got to thinking as I headed home that I wanted to remember others we've lost. I never really had a chance to say I will miss you to Milo, so I wrote this for him, last night. Remembering Milo ~~ Mannie

Oh,and Tess can we come to the greenhouse today? Gracie's got really bad men at the pool - they is ripping it apart, :shock: and well.... there is this very tiny human here who kinda freaks me out :? .... so, OK? and thanks guys for coming to spend time with me last night on the pink floor..... and the baby sleeps... :-D :-D :-D - hopefully I can get to a few condos. Paws crossed! It seems rather apparent that the babies cries frighten Mannie. My big tough in your face macho dude kitty is very unsettled when the cries are longer than 30 seconds in duration. Poor Mannie! The eyes were big, the eras were back, the pom pom of a tail was really twirling... wow. It will get better Mannie - hang in there! cat_pet_icon

Hi Devon - YAY! He seems to be turning things around. PHEW! We are having fun the the baby - he has such a heart warming smile! :-D

Hi Ann - oh good - Tess has comedown too. I saw she us up a little this AM, but just have not been able to get to many condos. maybe they have decided that together is better. :lol:

HAHA on peace in the household - maybe.... DGS is a good little kid, he's still so young, and of course everything is communicated via the wail. Mannie does not do prolonged wail well. :lol: :lol: :lol: I've found him in the basement, where it is quiet. Well, in time he'll get to know the wail means him no harm.... :roll:

Tess - cool then... I dunno if anybody has any sun.... we were supposed to, but it's raining!!! bummer. Well, maybe I'll bring some party leftovers and we can chill-out and relax in the greenhouse. I wonder if Willie has sun.... it was nice there yesterday. hmmmmmm... Well I'm on my way, gots the fuds in the roadster. See you soon, after I get Gracie. She's freaked out there. ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle: I know you are enjoying Nicholas although it is a change for you and Mannie. I know all four of my cats would be totally freaked with a baby crying. They can deal with the noise the pool deck guys are making but a baby crying...uh uh. :lol: :lol:

Nice to see Mannie in blue. He just needed a rest yesterday or maybe it was his way of showing you that he didn't want DGS there and now he understands how it will be. :lol: :lol: So inituitive our babies are!

Mannie...thanks for picking me up!! I already hads a headache from the wildness at the party and the noise here!! Eeeeyyyuuuuuu!! I need peace and quiet like at Tess's. My beans say no more noise after today!!

Hi Marje - yep, big change, and very time consuming. I have having a grand time, but I really miss visiting everyone in the morning. oh well, we do the best we can. And I know - Mannie does OK until the wails start. :lol: :lol: He's a good kid, doesn't cry that much, but when he does - wow: what a set of lungs. :shock: I bet that in a couple of weeks Mannie will be used to it. paws crossed! :-D and yes on the blue - love that +11. wow, pmps ought to be interesting. I truly hope he doesn't drop anymore....

Sorry I'm checking in late! I pulled up your condo 4 times today at work, started a comment, then work called!!!

Nice numbers for Mr. Mannie tonight!! Glad to see that the DGS visit went well, that Mannie has found a quiet place in the basement, and that, as of yet, there has been no major retaliation for the Nanner transgressions!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Though, I have to tell you, Michelle... I'm waiting for the day when you describe what happened when DGS picks one up and starts slobbering on it!! What will poor Mannie do????

Hope you guys have a good cycle tonight! Poor Willie got a late shot again tonight, and he is bouncy again. Dosecrease may be in order!

Michelle, I haven't posted on your condo in a few days and wanted to stop by and say "hey"! Mannie certainly decided that pink was too girlish and likes blue much better. I can't imagine how Simon would be with a baby crying in the house. Mannie sounds like he is coping ok and I'm sure you are loving your visits with Nicholas. Have a wonderful, restful evening.

Mi Michelle, ohhh Mannie came down nicely for the PMPS but hope it doesn't mean a long night. That was such a sweet remembrance of Milo. It sounds like you are having a nice time with DGS, and Mannie is adapting.

Hey Georgia - no worries! I am finding that with the baby here that I can't get to visit many people. Mannie is doing OK. He ventured on out to check out the little guy, give him a few sniffs. I did take some photos, so hope to post them tomorrow morning. I did get a laugh - He went and rubbed his nose on all the baby's toys, especially the basket. :lol: :lol:

Hi Michelle & Mannie, Sorry I'm only now getting to your condo today, too. Don't know where the day went. But we had beautiful sunshine all day and temperature rising into the upper 40s. Rusty lounged around by the window and we had some good play sessions and a NAP (I was tired!! from not doing anything much all week so far).

Mannie's coming down nicely and I hope it won't be "one of those" nights! Now that Nicholas has gone home, Mannie can relax!! Funny about the baby crying. We didn't know how many homes Stu had before he came to live with us (he was returned to the ASPCA twice!), but one of them must have had a baby in it. He never paid any attention to the TV set until one evening when a baby in one of the programs started to cry loudly. Stu perked right up and stared at the TV!! Then, when he realized that the baby wasn't in the room, he went back to sleep!

That was a beautiful tribute to Milo today.

Hi Ella - no worries - I have yet to visit you! I cannot believe it is as late as it is and I can't get out of my own condo... there are not enough hours in the day today. It sounds like a great day for you - nice! I am glad you had sun! We finally did about 3 this afternoon - very welcome! Very funny story on Stu! I think Mannie will do fine over time. He checks everything out that belongs to Nicholas. It's just those cries, when they are long. I think they frighten him, upset him. He's not used to noises like that. And thanks on Milo.

Gracie is a mystery. Sometimes it's almost like her nadir is so late... Will we ever understand it all? probably not. just when we think we do they change the rules. anyways - i am happy to see such a great surf, and maintained with a very small amt of 7% - maybe a half tsp each feed. Shesshhhh it was nice not to have to bring out the carbs and the gravy. :-D :-D :cool:

and thanks... not too sure if it is patience or what. I've just learned that have to wait with him, or i'd be pcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpcpc 24/7. :lol: :lol: :lol: sometimes I think that I need to be more aggressive, but wow - what would that do to him. I wonder how successful that would be with a long term diabetic. wish i knew....

Actually I've had that one for a while, just never had the chance to use it. Put a + between two search words in Google and you get a lot more specific results, then in the results page click on the images button in the upper left and all it shows are pix. I often use "smilies + " and add in whatever I'm looking for.

I'll look for you later. Nappus time for this bean.
 
Great surf. You know I think you are very smart to find a dose that lets him have these great surfs where you don't have to pcpcpcpc. That's what we would like to do with Gracie. Very nice.
