Last night, Lucy wasn't feeling so good and her appy wasn't good either, plus her BG was climbing up, so I went to bed feeling frustrated and helpless.
I wasn't looking forward to getting up this morning, but she's doing better than I expected. :smile:
Not much enthusiasm, but she finished the 1st breakfast without bowl chasing, and I'm getting some purr.
I am very relieved.
I really want her to stay well and keep her strength for the upcoming dental in 10 days.
(Is it already in 10 days!? My stomach knots every time I think about it.)

I'm sorry Lucy is going up again. I hope she comes back down soon. Hopefully the dental will help her numbers flatten out. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

It occurred to me on the bus on the way to work this morning that it might be the beginning of a pancreatitis flare, so I worked really fast at the office and came back home in mid-afternoon, but no, Lucy's posture is too relaxed for that.
Which is good.
Her number is coming down a bit, and I think she's feeling a bit better.
She got me worried this morning, because she didn't finish her 3rd breakfast and I wasn't getting much purr even with the ZoomGroom.

She had a poopy bum when I came home.
I didn't want to upset her by giving her a bum bath, so I shaved the poopy fur.
She doesn't like it either, but she tolerates it better than a bath.

Hi Mariko, thanks so much for coming by to help us today, when you were having a frustrating day too :sad: :YMHUG: . I know how hard it is to wait for a dental, too :YMSIGH:

I'm glad Lucy is giving you a blue! Sorry about the poopy bum...I guess some poo is better than none...at our house today, anyways :? . I'm glad you were wrong (anti-jinx!) about the flare and that she seems to be feeling better. I hope she eats all her suppers and purrs up a storm for you tonight! :-D

Nice save, Lucy!! I like how she turned it around, even though she just about gave her MamaBean a heart attack with the direction she was heading. Bummer about the poopy bum, but maybe the poopy passing is what made her numbers come down. I hope you guys are able to get some R&R tonight!
