We're STILL running along without insulin - we're now at about +60 since his last half unit dose. This IS NOT an OTJ trial!! This is desperation to identify other issues happening. Yesterday's condo has further explanation as to why we're doing this. He's eating well, all LC, taking meds, yesterday's poops were AWFUL but I hope we can tighten those up today. NOTHING digested from yesterday's breakfast - fully undigested food was in that runny ugly stuff. TMI??? :roll: Yesterday afternoon's is still in there tho' so that's good.

NO SURGERY FOR DAKOTA! The tooth hole is now resealing by itself. We're doing a few extra ab's but we're back! He's happy to be home too! That's vet stress in that AMPS!!!

Yay for no surgery! So glad that Doc is healing up on his own. And interesting on KT. I think I would make the enzymes and probiotics a regular part of his meds. I do it w/ all of ours and the seldom have problems now!

Yay! That's great news that Dakota doesn't need surgery. I hope you can figure out what is going on with KT.

i'm with ann - i'd just make it part of the routine and go back to using insulin.

i guess the question i'd ask is how will you know what you're looking for and how does no insulin fit into the picture?

I was kind of confused, too, even after reading his previous condo but that doesn't mean I know anything about it. I hope his numbers stay down and you get some improvement and find out what's going on.
