HAPPY SUNDAY!!!
Just wanted to stop in and say, "HEY!!" Enjoying this beautiful sunny spring day, wrapping up Doug's birthday celebration. Today is Doug and Joseph's birthdays, but Joseph couldn't come home this weekend, so we celebrated Thursday before Easter with most of the family and Easter Sunday with Ginnie and her family. Today, it's just Doug, Jessica and me for Pizza Inn and ice cream cake! I don't really like celebrating that early, but with so many schedules and living a few hours apart, it was the best we could manage this year.
OT - Doug has been able to shed his sling and is to be working on range of motion exercises. If all goes well, the surgeon said he won't need PT and may be able to return to work the end of April/first part of May! He isn't to lift more than 2 pounds with that arm - and, since he FEELS like Superman, NOW is the time we're REALLY having to watch him like a hawk! "Is that less than 2-lb? Didn't think so!" :lol:
(BAD MOM that I am, I failed to recognize Hershey's 11th birthday on March 1st. :sad: )
Hershey is doing GREAT!! When last we posted (3/12, I believe), he was up to 1u. Since then, we've seen a few 40's and a few in the 30's. We didn't want to rush home from Ginnie's on Easter, so we delayed his PM shot. We were almost back on schedule when we mis-set the alarm clock (4/5). Ugh! Hopefully, we'll be back on schedule Thursday. He's been able to shave .9u - .8u - .7u - .6u and as of this morning, we're trying .5u. (.5u) hasn't worked in a while, so we're pretty excited that it's even a possibility, again! All P's in place and good numbers, so YAY!!!
