Boing! Oh Floyd...... But, I see pink! Unless he does something really spectacular tonight, like make his way back into a green, he could use some more juice tomorrow AM cycle.

Floyd, a dosecrease threat is on the table. Fingers and Paws crossed that he gets down to business tonight.

Hmm Floyd’s SS looks a lot like @Girlie's mom in the beginning. No easy feat regulating but it was done:)
Glad you’re able to test as much as you do. Hope he comes down for you today

Do look at my 2017 SS if you want to feel better! Girlie just swam in a sea of black and high reds for a LONG LONG TIME! We were just very, very lucky that she never had ketones; I checked almost every day. Thank goodness Girlie has no modesty and didn't mind me just putting a little bowl under her while she was in the act...

She was also a really dramatic diver and bouncer and was forever going into lime green numbers or dropping 200 or 300 points. It was driving me insane and I couldn't cope anymore on no sleep for months on end. We finally switched to Levemir and life changed dramatically for her. But ECID! I just wanted to let you know that there IS life after high blacks, as they start to get used to insulin and lower numbers after being high for so long before they were diagnosed. It's a rough road, but you can do it and you can get there. Just do check Floyd's urine frequently. I hope he has no modesty either! :p

You're in the right place here at FDMB; I couldn't have gotten where I am with Girlie now without all of the support and advice I got here. This is a great site and great people. :-)

Thank you for the encouragement! I just wish I joined sooner.:)

Floyd has no problem letting me catch urine, but I never see him going to the LB. I finally bought a ketone meter to just check his blood because I can't reliably get urine.

With my luck, he will need Levemir, because I just ordered a bottle of Lantus from Marks Marine!!
