Yesterday's condo

Wonder where I was at +2 or +3?? I know I was home, so why don't I have a test there? (and there isn't a ghost test on the glucometer either). Jeesh....like I told Tyler, it's a good thing that the Lord watches over fools and children (and sugarcats!!)

I haven't given China the Cypro since Saturday evening and she's still eating fairly normally!! YEAH!!! Keep it up China baby!! Mama loves you!!!

Got DM to the Urgent Care again this afternoon for what's hopefully the 3rd and last shot. She's a little better (which I think is probably the prednisone) but when they listen to her chest, she still sounds very "tight", so they want to see her again tomorrow. I'm going to get her in to see her regular doctor instead though, just because dragging her an extra 40 miles every day isn't helping her sciatica and besides, I think it's important that her regular doc see's her. Of course when I asked the Urgent Care doc, they said that was fine, but didn't mention anything about signing permission to send her records to her regular doctor, so before we go tomorrow, I'll have to run over there and sign the consent to have the records faxed.....what a pain!!

AHH!! I remember where I was this morning!! At the orthopedic surgeon's office for my follow up on my knee!! He wasn't exactly pleased but understands I'm between a rock and a hard place. He took a bunch of fluid off and sent it for testing (I don't know what for) and then injected a bunch of steroid back in. Was fine for about an hour, but BOY!! when that lidocaine wears off...WOWSER!!

Hope you've all had a nice Monday! It's been in the upper 50's and low 60's here and the jonquils are blooming! Spring just might make it yet!!

You have been super busy Chris. I am so glad that China is eating more. Continuing to send prayers for your mom and for your knee. I guess you haven't been taking it easy.

Nice blues for China today. I'm glad she's still eating without the cypro. I'm glad your DM is a little better. I hope your knee gets better. Sending prayers for your DM and your knee.

Hmmmm.....I wonder if China just skimmed my first post and didn't realize I was talking about outdoor temperatures in the 50's and 60's :lol:
 
:lol: on China getting her BG and the temps mixed up! I think she's just being nocturnal. She is a cat, you know. She's decided it's time you tried the night owl life. ;-)

I'm so glad she's eating without the meds. Sending appy vines for her to continue to do so.

I'm also sending more prayers and healing vines for your DM. Does the passenger seat in your car recline? My doctor told me that when my sciatica was really bad riding in the car, I should recline my seat as far as it would go, and that would take the pressure off the nerve. He was right - the pain goes away! You might see if that will help your DM on car rides.

China, it's been a long day and Mamabean needs to rest her knee, so please get up on your surfboard and stay safe all night for her, okay? :mrgreen:
