Morning All,

All is normal here, good test, food, shot and LB. But neither kitty ate too much this morning. Zeus woke me up before the alarm, guess he was just getting even for me waking him up for a poke at +8 :lol: He went BTB right after his breffis. He's really close to blue this morning... Hoping he will come down for a blue green surf today.

Miss Smokey, she had a terrible time with pulling her fur out not too long ago. I brought her to the Vet, they gave her a depo shot, and she has been fine since. All of the fur grew back, and she was much less itchy.... Until last night. I thought she was just preening, but it went on and on and on. Upon a closer look, she had pulled some fur out. I can't wait for Spring! She does this every winter, and then when I can start opening the windows again she stops. She was very playful throughout the day yesterday, and is starting early today playing with my shoe laces.

I feel bad about the fur pulling. I think I had mentioned that Stella used to do that too. I kept switching her foods until she stopped doing it. Maybe its the food and not the pollen?

I hope Zeus slides down today. I'm sorry to hear Smokey is pulling her fur out again. I hope it gets warmer for you soon and you can open the windows for her.

THe depo shot, it was depo medrol... It's a steroid I think. They don't like to give it too often as it can cause other problems, such as liver disease or diabetes. The vet talked about seasonal allergies, but I really think a lot of it is due to dry skin. She likes to hover over the heat vents when the warm air is blowing... She'd really like to be laying down over the vents, which she used to do before I put barriers over them.

I don't think it's a food allergy since she does this every year, but only in the winter time. As soon as we can turn off the heat and open up the house she stops pulling her fur out. Can't wait for nice weather.

Woo hoo, a green at +9. I fed a little at +7 & +9 to slow down the drop, hoping to have a shootable number at PMPS but not too much of a food spike mixed in. Fingers crossed.
