Rex is responding really well to the auto feeder - It is his new BFF.
I will start breaking up his morning meals as well.

New schedule:

0600 - Test & Feed
0800 - Auto feed
1800 - Text & Feed
2000 - Auto feed

His numbers are much flatter today.

Also took a delayed micro reduction(shooting through his bounce) from Thursday night.
Rex has had a history of failed reductions.

Yea!! Looks like Rex is working those numbers!

I really think that Rex can't handle a full dose reduction at this point - We will have to ease into them.

Seattle will have rain all weekend long. And we might even get some thunder and lightening (just like Marje & Gracie).

Hi Rich! Rex is looking fabulous --- the micro reducie seems to be working its magic :mrgreen: Best of luck with the slow step down and the new feeding schedule.

Well guess I should have just given him 1tsp.

I hope he does not bounce from todays lower numbers.

I've actually used that technique myself of shooting through the bounce until it clears and it worked really well for Rex!! Looking great!

I think if you have any problems with him failing reductions in the future, you might want to try the three times between 40-50 and then give a .25u reduction. But so far, so good!!!

For new members: I'd only use the technique if you know your cat really well and it's response to shooting through the bounce. If your kitty clears bounces quickly, you probably don't want to shoot through the bounce more than once.

Glad he loves the auto feeder!!!!

So I took a chance and gave Rex the other portion of his reduction. Tonight he is at 0.05s

Will see how that works. :) His AM+9 was lower, so I am hoping he is not going to bounce.
