Yesterday was a pink to blue slide, followed by a furshot. ohmygod_smile

Today poor Neko suffered my clumsiness last night. I think DH might get a few shot duties at night as the right elbow is still not where it should be for doing Neko's left side shots. She is coming slowing down. I also opened a new cartridge of joos as the old one was 35 days old. Lots of time was spent in the solarium - it's getting to be Neko's favourite haunt. There was a little sun in the early afternoon, but it was raining in the morning. She just came in from a short tour outside, dragging cedar bits on her tummy fur. :roll: She suffered me a few minutes of combing. Shedding season is definitely starting so we'll have to get at it a bit more often.

Today was mostly spent cleaning the house as delayed Easter lunch is at our place tomorrow. DH is still coughing almost two weeks into the flu/cold thing he got, but at least he's no longer contagious. We did a little shopping this afternoon and saw a first at the local butcher, fresh kangaroo sirloin on sale! The kittehs love it, but I am not up to trying it myself. :lol:

Sorry about the fur shot. Hopefully Neko will keep sliding down and recover quickly. I hope your elbow heals soon.

Nice slidage, Neko. I hope you kept it up all day. Have you heard of a furminator, Wendy? It's a special comb that really pulls out loose hair. Poor DH, still coughing. Sending him some healing vines.

Whew, so glad to erase that AMPS from the subject line. :lol: Miss Neko is out on deck patrol again. :-D

@Carla - Yup, fur shots happen, just wish they weren't so often. :roll: Almost 7 weeks since I broke the elbow, I'm going to the doc on Monday to see what she says.

@Rhiannon - Paws crossed here for a nice slow slide to blue tonight. I shot tonight, seemed to work. DH was on the phone at shot time.

@Liz - Still sliding, hope it continues. I have almost every cat combing device sold. Furminator works really well on Theo, not as well on Neko. Neko has longer hair. She won't let me touch her tummy or pants with it. So we do a combo of combing, some furminating, some with the zoom groom. Thanks for the DH vines, he went rowing on Thursday for the first time in a week and half, what a mistake. :roll:

Zoom groom! We might have to try that one. The furminator works well with Tillie who has a thick Manx coat. Zener has fairly thin fur and he just needs a regular brush once in a while.

Hi Wendy - what a nice recovery for Neko - I am so glad that she decided "that color" was not for her. Surf well tonight Neko!

Healing vines for DH - I didn't realize that he was sick. I hope he is beginning to feel better. Is you arm/elbow doing better? I hope so -seems like so long ago that you broke it (it was a break, yes?)

I had to laugh over neko bringing the yard with her. That is so Mannie too. :-D We had a little sun today too. Our weather sounds very much like yours: rains in the morning,a decent day by afternoon.

Still recovering from the fur shot. :sad:

@Liz - The zoom grooms are great. They get a lot of loose fur and both cats love the massage.

@Michelle - I'm afraid Neko snuck up again. Hopefully just a short trip. DH came down with a flu/cold almost 2 weeks ago. So far (antijinx) he's the only one. For me it's almost 7 weeks since the elbow fracture. I am so impatient for it to be healed. Seems like there is something more than just the fracture in play. We have cedars in our yard, it's so funny when Neko comes in trailing a long piece. :lol:

@Courtney - Thanks for the vines. Our regrets on the PJ party tonight. Looks like a busy one.
