Yesterday's Condo

I'm late opening Gabby's condo. It's just too hard to try to set this up on a smart phone (and kudos to those of you who do). I have internet!!!!! And the house phone is connected. I found Target and a grocery store and I am very pleased with how Siri has been giving me directions.

Gizmo was a bit freaked by the cable guy but he eventually came out of hiding. Gabby just wanted me t scratch her ears. Her numbers have been improving which is a good thing.

A group of my new colleagues are having a "Welcome to Columbus" dinner tonight so I'm off to join them for dinner.
 
Yeah for the internet! Welcome back! I've done condo's on the iPad, but the phone is just a bit too much of a stretch.

Great to see Gabby is getting over the travel numbers. Poor Gizmo - he really isn't living up to the tough guy image of a NFC. Enjoy dinner tonight.
 
Glad to see things are starting to settle down. Getting the internet and phone set up are big in making things feel "normal". Have a great dinner!!

Can you imagine someone in, say, 1960, arrive In a large, new city and having a GPS to help them get around? ;-) we've got it good.
 
I hate not having internet, so I'm so happy for you that it's up! It's so difficult posting on an iphone, I've been trying lately when not home :? . I'm glad that you guys got there safe and are all settling in, and that Gabby is giving you some decent numbers too. It sounds like you're off to a good start with a welcome dinner, how kind of them to do so! Have a great time :-D

Nothing quite makes a house a home like the internet! It's one of those must-haves anymore.
