Happy Sunday everyone :)

We had an uneventful night! Fistuk slept well. No asking for late night snacks and since he's doing so much better today we're not going to test and feed any longer @+7PM so he doesn't get used to it again and we lose our sleep.

No painkillers since yesterday. The vet kept giving me consultations via email. She's so extraordinary. She recommended to stop Metacam, that it might give him tummy ache which is why he might have stopped eating by himself.

This morning when my alarm went off he was ready for action, ate 3/4 of breakfast by himself and more than that - just before his +3 snack he came to the kitchen shouting at us with his long lost Pavarotti voice to give him his snack. He hasn't used his Pavarotti voice for such a long time I almost forgot about it!!!

He's on 0.7U since last night.

Wishing you all a happy Sunday :bighug:

How nice he has his Pavarotti voice back!! So many positive changes still coming post-surgery. I wonder what part of his personality will come back next!
Good luck with the reduction :bighug:
I tried chasing him this evening to his favourite tune (aka my voice imitating mission impossible). He used to get triggered into doolaly from that. I was curious to see if he'll respond. He didn't run but I could feel his energy responding and wanting to run. I hope this will come back :D
I hope you're having a relaxed Sunday :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I LOVE this Fistuk report! :joyful:
Thanks for check-in on us, Wendy.
I love it too! I'm afraid supper wasn't a joy... I had to syringe feed all of it. He looks a bit nauseated. He probably needs to poo and for some reason it hasn't yet come out. I suspect the AB starts messing up his gut.
Paws crossed he'll continue to get better and more stable.

A great report, Shelly! So glad Fistuk continues to feel better. It sounds like you struck gold with your vet--she seems so attentive to Fistuk's needs. Safe surfing!
Thanks, Marielle :)
Yes this vet is something special. I could feel right from the start that she really cares. I hope vet also cares and she's great (we've got a mobile vet that comes over). But this one speclises in cats and I can see what difference this makes. She's precious :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Shelly, I love your report and I love hearing that the Pavarotti singer is back!
I hope he will feel better and eat better for you tomorrow. Hoping he will be able to make his baked goods and get the job done!
Wishing you all a very calm and boring night :bighug::cat::bighug:

Hi Staci :)
I was thinking of you and @Diane Tyler's Mom GA as I know you two are familiar with Fistuk's Pacarotti's moments. It was such a joy.
I guess I still need to be pateitn, he's still in recovery. But every time he's getting better and then have a retreating or regression moment I get so stressed.
I too hope he's able to open the bakery soon.
Wishing you a boring Sunday :bighug::bighug::bighug:
