Yeah we definitely got a fur shot last night. Tested for ketones and that is negative. Pissed now because I have to start all over basically. I hate these numbers because it just scares the pure hell out of me. So this morning I made sure all the insulin got in. Just wish the DH would pay more attention to things when he does it. So lets hope Doogle comes down quickly and safely.

I'm hoping that Doogle gives you a nice surf in lower #s today. I think we've all done a fur shot here and there. I know I've done at least 2 in the past 4 years. Try and relax, and have a good day. :YMHUG: You'll catch up. :-D

Hey Angela, I know I have done several myself in the past 2 years. Still doesnt mean I cant be irritated about it...LOL. Doogle is coming down which makes me feel better. Just hate it when the DH decides to move the placement of the shot and not pay attention to exactly where he is shooting. I think he shot to high and it went through completely.

Hopefully we didnt deplete the depot to bad at least.

Thanks for the encouragement and the advice Angela.....sometimes it takes a level head to convince a hard head....LOL.

Donna, several in two years is still a really good average out of 1460 shots. In the whole scheme of things, it will be Ok. When Lovey first was diagnosed, I would beat myself up when that happened.

Bummer on the fur shot last night. :cry: It looks like Doogle was making a move this morning, though. I hope the blues and greens aren't far behind!

Sorry I havent gotten back. Had to go fix my sister's computer and I was out all day while the DH kept up on Doogle. Then got home, fed the herd and my sister in law wanted to grab a bite to eat. Got done with that and home in time to watch Game of Thrones and then Cosmos. So just now updating. Doogle recovered well today at least. Here is a recap:
