Yesterday...

Sometimes, unpredictability is a good thing! From last night's start, I thought it would be a flat yellow/pink cycle (the +2 was 300 and the +4 was 296) but I woke up to our first blue AMPS in 7 days! Got a +2 to make sure it wasn't still dropping (178). Next check at +4 before his 2nd meal.

He's having an amazing cycle so far! BG 121 at +4 and he just got his 2nd meal.

I got a call right in the middle of the BG check, but by now, most of the people I work with know that there's a cat screaming in the background not because I'm killing him, but because I'm not preparing his food fast enough .

That's what I was afraid of... I fed 7% tonight, hoping it will let me go to bed at the usual time and wake up to a safe green nadir at +8. Getting a +4 in a few minutes.

If his BG keeps going down by 20 mg/dL per hour, it'll be under 40 by +8. So I'm staying up again for a +5, ready to give HC and dry treats if needed.
