If the other pen you were using was bad depending on how long ago it lost its punch he would have been using his shed up until you started the new pen, so he may have some shed to rebuild. So it may take a couple of days for you to see the effect of the new pen.

I got a 192 at 9am shortly before I left for work, so I guess it is starting to kick in. 240 at 6:10 pm, so I will test again at 8 and 10pm.

263 at 8pm. I fed him some Weruva Cats in the Kitchen goldie locks for dinner (3oz). He'll be tested again at 10.

Just a note. A test at +2 is still food talking. Lantus usually doesn't kick in until between +3 and +4. Every cat is different, but if you can test at +3 or +4 or even +5, you might see where Cedric is going (besides up)

He was 216 at 10pm. I fell asleep for 15 minutes watching Ozzie & Harriet. I'm off to bed...not a chance I can make it to midnight...had to clean up another litter box "leak" again - 2nd time this week. I posted a Litter box thread in community for everyone's thoughts. Right now I have put piddle pads around the outside of the box.
