We have poop!!! Pumpkin last night did the trick

Now on to working on those 300+ in the AM. He has an appointment tomorrow for a recheck, maybe he can come off some eye meds soon and that will help.
It will be interesting to see how this vet reacts to me doing my own thing and not having followed her instructions from last week on the diabetes. Lets hope she is not an anti-hometester.

Hooray Sly---Hooray for Poop!!! I was going to suggest miralax but glad pumpkin helped! Here's hoping your vet is going to be supportive toward home testing! Sending positive vetty vines for tomorrow!

Thanks Ruth! We had him on miralax since Friday and it seemed to be a no-go That is what I always use on my oldies, I buy the biggest jug possible!

The shelter doesn't care if the vet agrees, so that is good anyways, she trusts what we do. It just gets messy with the eye ulcer still needing me to take him in to be looked at. I did take him to my vet instead for the puking/no-pooping issue so at least his records have been transferred if that vet gets offended and difficult to work with.

LOTS of positive vetty vines are welcome. We want off those eye meds!!!
