? 4/5 Winnie - will the bouncing ever end???

I was away for a week, during which my cat sitter reduced the dose to 0.75 due to vomiting, but have been home for the past 9 days shooting 1 unit. Thought I'd give her a few days to settle in at a consistent dose and it looked like we were finally getting this under control - her numbers over the past 3 days were better than we've seen for a long time. But today she's sky-rocketing again. I suspect she went low last night and is bouncing in response. My vet is stumped. Should I put her back to 0.75? keep her at 1 and hope this settles? change insulins? I'm really worried about what this is doing to her liver. Words from the wise much appreciated!
 
Bounces can last for six cycles. I know it's frustrating but some cats bounce until they finally stop. I wouldn't reduce the dose.
 
Cats that are new diabetics, less than one year since diagnosis, will be reduced in dose if they go below 68 on the AT. Which Winnie did on March 29th. However, she's been diabetic for longer than a year, so is considered a long term diabetic. In that case, the protocol suggests waiting until she goes under 68 three times before taking the reduction.

Looks like she's bouncing today, from what were probably lower numbers last night. Sometimes if you hold the dose a little longer, it can help with the bouncing as it allows her body to see more greens.
