Most heavy hearts this morning for the sudden passing of dear, sweet Maverick, keeping our friend Karrie close in thought and prayer as she deals with his loss.


Battle of the fuds continues. ,He got some FF mixed with BG last night at bedtime after feverently making the case that he was, in fact, the most abused, starved cat in the world. A wicked case of fudnose ensued. This morning was raw + FF, which was met with a bit more enthusiasm. I have to keep reminding myself that cats just eat less with raw, and his intake is acceptable.

Bidness done, fuds consumed, LB action complete, and he is cuddled up next to me for btb time. Life in Willie's World is good.

Hi Christie & Willie, yes, heavy hearts indeed thinking of Karrie and losing Maverick. Still such a shock.

Oh boy, Willie, is your Bean starving you, too? I finally got my Mom to feed me some FF Chopped Grill instead of the Wellness Chicken~ Maggie.

I'm in such shock over Maverick, I can barely think straight. There are such joys on this forum and then such griefs, but I suppose that is life and we are so lucky we have each other to lean on. Thank the gods for this forum.

Willie, you look wonderful and I am glad you enjoyed your breakfast. Hope you and the Bean have a lovely Tuesday.

Our hearts are very saddened by mavericks passing .. it's never easy, but especially when you are not prepared at all to say goodbye ..

Willie is looking good today .. hopeful the nice numbers continue all day for you guys .. I hope the food battles don't last to long for you guys .. have a great day!

yes on the heavy hearts in LL. We too are keeping our friend Karrie close in our thoughts.

Willie! What a great start for you! What a good boy - no bouncing from your greens last night, unlike some other kitty I know who shall remain nameless. :lol: Surf well for your bean... looks like your +2 says you may want her attention this morning.

Love the fuds story. poor baby! They sure do make their opinions known, don't they. Be good there Willie, and eat your fuds!

Agreed, Christie, hearts are heavy here, with our LL family. Holding Karrie close in my heart today, and days to come as she deals with the loss of her Maverick.

Willie has a gorgeous start to his day, Christie. Big grin for him. :mrgreen:

Karrie and Maverick are in all our hearts. It is especially hard when it comes so suddenly.

Of course he decides to drop 10-15 pts/hr on the one night the bean is trying to get to bed early. What else would he do???

Will either stay awake or set alarms. Given that we're early in the week, if he's earning a dosecrease, I want to catch it.

of course it's always on a night we want to get to bed. Good luck - maybe set alarms?
